There is no better time during the year to day drink than the Fourth of July. You get to be outside all day, get drunk, and eventually watch and/or shoot off fireworks*, all in the name of kicking ass and taking names for our freedom. This year, honor the original American Badasses, our Founding Fathers, by raising a glass of the good stuff. Shake up these Fourth of July cocktails and toast to freedom the right way.
- 2 parts Bayou Silver
- 5 mint leaves
- 1 part fresh lime juice
- ¾ part simple syrup
- 2 parts club soda
Method: Combine mind leaves, simple syrup and a splash of club soda in a tall glass. Muddle well and add lime juice Bayou Silver and stir well. Fill glass with ice and remaining club soda, garnish with a lime wheel.
Izze Blueberry Salute
- 1 oz rye whiskey
- .5 oz blueberry schnapps
- .75 oz coconut milk
- 5 oz Izze Sparkling Juice Blueberry
- Fresh blueberries
Method: Add all ingredients to shaker except Izze, lemon wheel, and fresh blueberries. Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with Izze Sparkling Juice and garnish with blueberries.

- 1.5 parts elit Vodka
- 1.5 parts Dry Red Wine
- .5 part St. George Spiced Pear
- .25 part Maple Syrup
- .25 part Lemon Juice
- 1 part Seltzer
Method: Build in a glass and top with seltzer. Garnish with a pear fan and grated nutmeg.
- 1.5 oz Patron Silver
- .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- .5 oz Coconut Cream
- .25 oz Fresh Watermelon Juice
- .5 oz Chicha Syrup*
- 3 dashes Tajin
- .5 oz Blue Curaçao
Method: Pour Patron, lemon juice, and coconut creams into pilsner glass. Fill half the glass with crushed ice and swizzle. Pack the ice down tightly with the swizzle stick. Pour Chicha syrup, watermelon juice, Tajin, and Campari in a shaker and whip to incorporate. Fill the pilsner glass 3/4 with crushed ice and pack tightly. Pour the mixture around the edge of the ice. Fill pilsner glass to top and mound fresh ice tightly. Pour blue curaçao around top. Garnish with charred pineapple, watermelon ball, and Tajin.
DAM Tailgate Rickey
- 2 oz New Amsterdam Vodka
- 4 oz Limeade
- 2 oz Club Soda
Method: Pour into an ice filled Collins glass, and stir together to combine/chill. Garnish with a slice of lime.
- 2 Parts Absolut Original
- 1 Parts Lemonade
- 1 Part Watermelon Juice
- Frozen blueberries and strawberries, lemon wheels, mint sprigs
Method: Combine all ingredients over large chunks of ice. Decorate with the above garnishes.
- 3 parts Hornitos Plata Tequila
- Handful of fresh strawberries
- Juice from 1 lime
- 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
- Fresh pepper
- 1 cup club soda
Method: Put strawberries in a small pitcher and mash to your desired consistency. Add juice, club soda, Hornitos Plata and combine along with four good grinds from the pepper mill. Fill two glasses halfway with ice and divide drink among glasses.

- 1.5 oz Plymouth gin
- 4 oz Bruce Cost Ginger Ale – Original
- .75 oz lemon juice
- .75 oz Small Hand Foods raspberry gum syrup
Method: In a glass with ice, combine the listed ingredients. Stir, garnish with blackberries and enjoy!
*Fireworks are great, but please be mindful of veterans in your neighborhood.
