While Saucony has plenty of sneaker options with footwear features that seem like their own art form, its latest release is inspired by the beauty of art. Along with 3sixteen, Saucony has unveiled its latest collection, which draws inspiration from the typical primer artists use on canvases before creating. Gesso works by enhancing paint absorption and acting as a base for artists to express themselves, something Saucony looks to replicate with their colorful lineup. Serving as a canvas to express yourself, these new sneakers allow users to personalize their shoes to display their personalities best. Using different textures, materials, and dyes, this collaborative collection is another innovative process that lands in footwear, which looks to make each shoe unique and one-of-a-kind to its owners.
3sixteen and Saucony get creative with a colorful new lineup

Releasing in a total of five colorways, this Saucony x 3sixteen collaborative collection honors everyone’s inner creativity. Each colorway employs unique dying techniques and natural materials, which in turn affect the outcome of each colorway. To achieve this collaboration, both brands went through various experiments with different materials and natural dying techniques to ensure the best mix of color and quality for each colorway. For this release, the brand has already launched its “Indigo” and “Sunflower” shades on July 10 via 3sixteen.com and the brand’s New York and Los Angeles flagship stores for $190. The natural, undyed sneaker will release on July 17 for $140 via the same platform. The final two colorways, “Granite” and “Rubia,” will be released in late July. Selected global stockists will also carry the colorways upon their release. These limited edition sneakers aren’t just another shoe to add to your collection, as both brands encourage users to take up their natural dying techniques to customize their new designs as they please.
