Farewell summer beer drops, we hardly knew you. Actually, we’re still enjoying them and just beginning that seasonal transition. And a great way to do so is by way of a cocktail that echoes the moment.
Now, that does not just mean jumping right into pumpkin spice lattes and throwing on your favorite beanie. You’ve got to do it in style, embracing the in-between. Perhaps it’s a lightweight long-sleeve tee or a cocktail to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Just no going straight to gingerbread and talk of the holidays.
It’s a great time to eat and drink. Get out to your local farmer’s market and bask in the bounty. Spend a weekend afternoon wine tasting as the grapes come in or enjoy a crisp evening with a good nightcap cocktail recipe.
Whatever you’re up to, make sure it involves some flavors of the season. There’s so much to enjoy in September and October. And once we reach Halloween, then, and only then, we can start talking about the holiday season.
In the meantime, read on for a great recipe courtesy of 1800 Tequila.
