Jim Beam Encourages Bonding Over Bourbon with the Ultimate Trip to Kentucky for $23

It’s not often a trip to Bourbon Country can be had for $23, but Jim Beam is making it happen. If you’re looking for an ultimate Father’s Day gift bargain, this might be the ticket.

You do remember Sunday is Father’s Day right?

Jim Beam

The massive bourbon maker is making trips available to Kentucky for a mere $23 as result of a recent blind taste test, held by the Beverage Tasting Institute. The distillery claims 54% of participants preferred the $23 Jim Beam Black against a $3,000 bottle of a “recognizable brand with a high demand and limited production.” With the results in mind, Jim Beam decided on offering a $3,000 trip for the price of a bottle of Jim Beam Black — built on a similar experience last year which sold out in minutes called “Bonding Over Bourbon Experience.” This year even beats last year’s $25 price tag.

A limited number of the $23 packages will be released on June 12 on the Jim Beam e-store. Last year, the packages sold out in mere minutes.

The trip includes round-trip airfare for two to Kentucky, a two-night hotel stay in Louisville, a Jim Beam behind-the-scenes tour, dinner for two at a “renowned” Kentucky restaurant, a round of golf, and a limited-edition Jim Beam Black gift box complete with a decanter, rocks glasses, and luggage tag.

Jim Beam

Jim Beam is the No. 1-selling bourbon, produced by sticking to Jacob Beam’s recipe from the 1790s.

Jim Beam has expanded its line greatly since its founding, including Jim Beam Black, which spends a few more years in barrels than the original’s four. Now the lineup includes Jim Beam Bonded, Single Barrel, Double Oak, Rye, and Devil’s Cut. There’s also a wide range of flavored bourbons, including Maple, Peach, Apple, Vanilla, Honey, Red Stag, and Fire. The brand also launches occasional special releases, like this winter’s Repeal Batch.

If you’re able to snag one of these trips, rest assured you’ll pick up the top spot on your dad’s latest ranking of favorite people. Sure there are other fine gifts for dad, but none of this magnitude come at a price this good and add your ability to join in on the fun! Plus, for whiskey lovers, few places are as magical as Kentucky and the great distillery campuses that dot the Bluegrass State, including Jim Beam’s.

I tried the viral Amalfi lemon sorbet and here’s what surprised me most
The TikTok-famous Amalfi lemon sorbet: worth the hype or just pretty?
Italy lemon sorbet

On TikTok, "foodtok" and "traveltok" often overlap—two of my biggest passions. Before my trip to Italy, my TikTok "for you" page was inundated with reels of Italian lemon sorbet, served inside the lemon itself instead of in a bowl. Suddenly, I found my entire feed taken over by this eye-catching Italian lemon dessert, originating from Italy's Amalfi Coast.

As I saw more videos of this treat, I assumed it would be one of those treats that gain popularity based on visual appeal alone and often lack flavor. After all, the presentation in the lemon itself is undeniably appetizing. When I arrived on the Amalfi Coast, it felt only right to try this famous treat in the very place it was born. Here's what surprised me most about this frozen sensation (and why you should never assume based on what you see on social media).

Meet the man behind Serenbe, America’s most inspiring wellness community
Inside the creation of Serenbe: A biophilic community reshaping how we live, eat, and connect
Aerial shot of Serenbe

Few people have reinvented their lives—and the lives of others—as radically and impactfully as Steve Nygren. From pioneering Atlanta’s casual fine dining scene in the 1970s to founding Serenbe, a biophilic wellness community nestled in the hills of Georgia, Nygren’s journey is one of vision, values, and a deep commitment to living in harmony with nature.

What began as a spontaneous weekend drive to show his children farm animals eventually led to the purchase of 60 rural acres and a complete lifestyle shift. That grew into what is now Serenbe: a 1,400-acre community designed around the principles of sustainability, human connection, and holistic well-being. It is home to more than 1,500 residents, 700-plus homes, a boutique hotel, and one of Georgia’s first certified organic farms.
