When Nike goes big, they truly know how to go even bigger. When it comes to their Vomero series, Nike puts this theory to the test with maximum cushioning that athletes have come to love. Whether you’re a professional or novice, the Vomero series is known for aiding performance and recovery while protecting your foot upon impact. Now, the series is getting two new additions that take the maximum cushioning to another level. The Vomero Plus and Premium are the latest additions to the series, which are as large as they come. While we are accustomed to seeing brands like Hoka with over-the-top silhouettes, these new Nike sneakers rival even their cushioniest model. Besides the added cushion, both releases also include all of the performance features you need to unlock your inner athlete.

Nike goes bigger and better with the Vomero sneakers

In the new Vomero Plus, Nike has added a plush engineered mesh upper and structural overlays for added design and a slight contrast to its Premium counterpart. However, in the Plus, the sneaker features a full ZoomX midsole, which offers a lighter feel and better response than previous Vomero designs. On the other hand, the Vomero Premium features a combination of ZoomX foam with exposed Air Zoom units in the heel and forefoot, providing maximum cushioning to the silhouette. Both designs have also eliminated the Cushlon 3.0 midsole for a more effective and carbon-efficient design. The Vomero Plus is set to hit shelves first with a release date of August 7 via Nike’s webstore and select retailers. The Vomero Premium will be released to select retailers on October 2, with a global release set for October 16. While neither sneaker has any retail price yet, the upgrades added to the design seem to be well worth the investment.

HOKA, known for their chunky sneakers and performance features, is joining the trend and is prepared to take it over with a new version of the sneaker loafer that brings their recognizable chunky soles to the forefront. With a standout silhouette, HOKA’s new Speed Loafer appears to do precisely what the name entails: deliver key technical footwear features with the look of your favorite dress shoe. Why The Row’s men’s flip flops are this summer’s quiet hit
The Row elevates the flip-flop and becomes the 'it' shoe of the summer

While considered a summer must-have and a beach necessity, the flip-flop is unexpectedly a divisive shoe. Even though heading to the beach without them is regarded as a faux pas to many, the flip-flop hasn’t quite earned its spot in other casual settings. With plenty of summer options available, the flip-flop is still categorized as too casual footwear to don anywhere but on vacation. However, it seems as if the tide is beginning to change, and leading the charge is none other than the luxury brand The Row. From their Spring 2021 collection that debuted leather thong flip flops, The Row has quietly introduced the flip-flop into a sophisticated footwear category that can efficiently function for form and fashion. However, the summer 2025 season became the tipping point with the prominence of the brand’s Dune Sandal.
