This week, Delta bolstered its offerings at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), announcing two new lounges and direct service to Rome and Barcelona. The airline will also offer priority access to 18 gates throughout Concourses A and B, so travelers can enjoy a smoother experience from ticketing to touchdown.
Flights to Rome and Barcelona, and two new lounges

Beginning in summer 2026, Delta will fly directly from Seattle to Rome and Barcelona. Service to Rome will occur four times weekly, while flights to Barcelona will happen three times weekly. The routes will be aboard a modern Airbus A330-900neo, with the airline’s latest premium cabins. Delta One includes lie-flat seats with full-height privacy doors, flavorful food and wine, and direct aisle access. Delta Premium Select brings a customizable leg and foot rest, more space, and an amenity kit and upgraded meals.
Highlighting the announcement is the debut of two SEA lounges, a Delta One Lounge and a Delta SkyClub. The lounges are in a separate-but-connected layout across from gate A11, and comprise 24,000 square feet. Not only that, but they feature wide-open mountain views, upscale amenities, and modern design. It’ll be the third Delta SkyClub added in the past year, and the fourth Delta One Lounge, for a total of 57 Delta-branded clubs and lounges.
Glen Hauenstein, President of Delta Air Lines, said: “Delta’s commitment runs deep in Seattle, from our people on the ground to our global ambitions in the skies. With new international service and the opening of our Delta One Lounge, we’re investing in what matters most to our customers—exceptional, premium experiences—and reinforcing our role as Seattle’s largest global carrier.”
