Another essential tip for easy hosting is to batch your cocktails in advance. Here we have two batched recipes plus one iconic classic daiquiri, for classy and stress-free entertaining.

Classic Daiquiri

Ingredients:

  • 2 Parts Diplomático Planas
  • 1 Part Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 Part Sugar Syrup
  • Lime wheel

Method:

Add all ingredients to a shaker, fill with ice, shake vigorously and strain into Coupe glass. Garnish with lime wheel.

Ginger Mint Lemonade

(Batched – 8 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 16oz Diplomático Planas
  • 8oz lemon juice
  • 4oz fresh ginger syrup
  • 4oz simple syrup
  • 60-70 mint leaves
  • Top up with soda water

Method:

Combine all ingredients except for soda water in a large pitcher or container. Pour serve amount into an ice-filled shaker tin, shake until cold, strain into glass until it’s ¾ full and top up with soda water. Garnish with a mint bouquet.

Hydrator

(Batched – 8 servings)

Ingredients:

  • 12oz Diplomático Planas
  • 4oz coconut liqueur
  • 40oz coconut water

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher or container. Pour serve amount into an ice-filled shaker tin, shake briefly & strain into ice-filled glass. Garnish with mint sprig and lime wheel; sugarcane stick is optional.
