This week, SWISS unveiled the SWISS First Grand Suite, setting new standards for First Class travel. The design joins two First Class suites into one, which passengers can use as a bedroom, office, or meeting space. The new cabin is part of the airline’s SWISS Senses cabin and service concept, which evokes the personality and precision of Switzerland.
Customizable privacy: Details of the SWISS First Grand Suite

With two suites and the aisle combined, the SWISS First Grand Suite creates a deeply private space, where passengers can work or unwind undisturbed. Along with that, SWISS offers its usual excellent First Class service, adjusted to guests’ particular needs. The airline will introduce the First Grand Suite in early 2026 on new Airbus A350s and renovated Airbus A330s on routes departing Switzerland. Later, the airline will add the suites to its Boeing 777s.
The First Grand Suite will serve as an accompaniment to other First Class offerings like the Single Suite by the window and the Middle Suite Plus, which can be joined to seat two passengers.
Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach said: “With our new SWISS First Grand Suite, we’re further expanding our First Class service product with an option that is specifically aimed at those of our top premium customers who are seeking even more privacy and even more scope to design their personal space on board.”
“Our Grand Suite should give our guests all the feeling of having their own ‘loft aloft’ – a space that they can use as they wish, to relax, to work or just to enjoy the experience. It’s a further step in our development of our SWISS Senses concept, which is aimed squarely at delivering a truly premium air travel experience.”
