Delta continues elevating the in-flight experience during its centennial year, with summer menu offerings that satisfy the palate at 30,000 feet. From partnerships with noted chefs to wines picked by master sommeliers, the airline is creating luxury in the skies.
What Delta passengers can look forward to this summer

Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Culinary Experience, said: “Summer is a season of adventure and relaxation for many of our customers. It’s a time when indulgence takes center stage, which we actively work to extend to the food, meals and beverages that enhance the journey. With this in mind, we’re excited to evolve our onboard offerings monthly, rolling out fresh new flavors and options that match what customers tell us they want.”
During July, Delta One passengers can try dishes that evoke summer’s personality, like handmade artichoke ravioli with panna sauce, roasted cherry tomatoes and Parmesan. Delta will also expand James Beard award-winning chef Mashama Bailey’s recipes to more domestic and international routes, after receiving resounding positive customer feedback. Her flavorful recipes include shrimp and grits with spicy creole sauce and scallions (available on select flights).
Delta is also refining its wine offerings, which it updates every three months. The airline partnered with Taittinger earlier in 2025 and the summer wine program brings five selections on both international and domestic flights.
Andrea Robinson, Master Sommelier and Delta Wine Consultant said: “The wonderful thing about travel is that we experience new places, cultures and culinary explorations. Delta does a great job bringing that ethos onboard with their wine program highlighting both classic regions as well as up-and-comers.”
Delta Comfort customers also receive an upgrade, with the introduction of advanced meal selection. From May 2025, Delta Comfort passengers on international trips can select their meal ahead of time, whether mushroom mezzaluna or chipotle chicken. Delta Comfort customers can enjoy advanced meal selection on long-haul Hawaii flights with meal service and on transoceanic routes. Meal selection starts seven days before departure, and must be made 24 hours before take off. Selection can be done via email link or the Fly Delta app.
