Worn Out Wednesday – Winston Fisher

Today we speak to Winston Fisher, of Fisher Brothers Realty and Drill Fitness.

I was born and raised in New York City. I have always had two passions – real estate and being active.

I pursued my passion for real estate by joining my family business, Fisher Brothers. As to my other passion, over the years I have gone on numerous adventure trips, hiked Mt. Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu, did mountain bike tours in Utah and California, signed-up for various endurance races and triathlons.

In June 2014, I was part of an eight man team participating in RAAM (Race Across America). We were Team Intrepid Fallen Heroes, riding not just to accomplish an incredibly challenging physical feat, but to support wounded US troops.  We accomplished our goal of completing the race in just 6 days! We dedicated our race to support Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffering the terrible effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI).  In June 2015, I will be doing RAAM again, but this time Team Intrepid Fallen Heroes will be a four person team.

I started Drill, because I wanted to bring my passion and intensity for working out to a studio. I believe there is a market for something that is cool, clean, modern, fun and hard. Drill reflects my love of pushing yourself to the extreme in a teamwork environment.

Style corner: How to wear men’s shorts in style in 2025
Showing off your legs the right way in 2025
Faherty All Day Short stacks

The summer is here. The spring showers have given way to the hot days, and that means it is time to start wearing clothing that protects you from the sweltering temperatures with a new summer wardrobe. And it also means that great summer vacations are on the horizon, and you need something to pack that will look great and keep you comfortable. For us, that means men's shorts are top of the pile for the next 12-15 weeks. Whether we're looking for something to wear around the house, out and about on errands, or something to keep us comfortable while exploring new places outside the office, a great pair of men's shorts is essential for our summer.

But these are not just any old pair of cut-off pants that we can wear. No, we have to put some thought into the shorts. Since I'm a huge fan of talking to people smarter than me to figure out the best way to do things, I reached out to Mike Faherty, co-founder of Faherty, to get some insight on how to wear shorts in 2025.

Wave rider: Breitling's superocean heritage update celebrates hawaiian surf heritage with kelly slater
Breitling superocean sea watch

Breitling refreshes its Superocean Heritage collection for the first time since 2017, introducing updated sizes, the new B31 manufacture movement, and a limited edition created in collaboration with surfing legend Kelly Slater. This revision balances vintage 1950s style with modern elegance and pays tribute to Hawaiian surf culture through special partnerships.

The Superocean Heritage line originally launched in 1957 as Breitling’s dive watch, combining stylish design with underwater capability. Early models like the Ref. 1004 time-only and Ref. 807 chronograph featured spear and arrow hands, anodized rotating bezels, and compact proportions—appealing to those who valued both aesthetics and function.
