Founded in 1994, the Children Action foundation improves the lives of children through various projects funded by auction event proceeds. As a result, Patek Phillippe participates in the Children Action Gala every year by offering a high-quality watch to the foundation.

In 2024, the luxury watch brand reproduced Patek Philippe’s Ref. 5711, which will be put up for auction on November 25th. Since its launch, the demand for this watch has always been high.

One of the most striking features of the new Patek Philippe Ref. 5711 is the hand-engraved pattern on the bracelet. While this watch was discontinued in 2022, it has never been rolled out into the market with such a pattern, and this feature makes the watch quite appealing. When the Patek Philippe Ref. 5711 was still in production, some enthusiasts modified their original pieces with patterns.

Thanks to the black Maori pattern, the watch has a modern, sophisticated look that makes it stand out. It’s highly likely that the watch will set a new record by fetching more money than the previous models. It embodies various aspects that have been passed down over the years while highlighting modern elements in a stylish manner.

The partnership between Patek Phillipe and the Children Action organization dates back to 2005. Over the past few years, Patek has offered a wide variety of watches to the cause. The Ref. 5270T was the watch with the highest bid—$6,500,000.

To make things more interesting, the Patek Philippe Ref. 5711 Nautilus comes with a pair of cufflinks in the same pattern as the watch.

In partnership with Bacs & Russo, Phillips plans to show a good set of nine Art Deco Cartier clocks. These will be available during auctions in Geneva plus Hong Kong this May. This gives buyers a chance to obtain timepieces of museum standard. They come from the luxury brand's peak period.

From a respected private source, the collection covers the time between the early part of the 20th century and the 1940s. It puts on display Cartier's high level of skill and invention during the Art Deco time.

A modern interpretation of the Viscount collection
Timex x Bespoke Post

Timex's latest field watch is inspired by a collection of watches known as Viscount, which dates back to the 1970s. It was quite popular in the good old days and was the go-to for the Australian National Railway. This time around, the brand partnered with Bespoke Post to make the watch more stylish and durable, keeping up with the times. While the brand rolled out large models inspired by Viscount in the past few years, the latest addition has a 36 mm casing—the new modern size.

Given that Bespoke Post focuses on outdoor gear, it had a big influence on some of the materials featured on the new watch. Apart from the small casing, the watch is paired with a new Cordura strap, a material that can be easily styled to fit multiple spaces. It can also take on everything that’s thrown its way.

Formex Space Glacier

Formex presents a new watch, the Space Glacier, in different sizes to diversify the Essence collection. Like the original model dating back to 2018, the 2025 edition stands out due to the Widmanstätten pattern, which is accentuated by a rough texture that adds depth to the front face. The crystal-like appearance is unique and varies from one model to the next.

This new addition draws some inspiration from older models launched in the past few years, such as the Essence Space Gold.
