Archer Aviation has been chosen as the Official Air Taxi Provider for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles and Team USA. The LA28 collaboration will utilize Archer’s Midnight eVTOL aircraft to transport fans, VIPs, and stakeholders. The partnership will also provide support for security and emergency services, and electrify take-off and landing hubs for key venues.
The Archer Midnight will provide quick connections during LA28

The Archer Midnight is a piloted electric air taxi that carries four passengers while producing significantly less noise and emissions than a helicopter. Its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) design lets it take off and land like a helicopter. Redundant systems (including 12 total engines and propellers) give it airliner-like safety. Not only that, but it’s made in America at the company’s San Jose, CA, and Covington, GA , facilities.
During the LA28 Games, Archer’s goal is to transport passengers to their chosen venue within 10-20 minutes. That’ll happen via vertiports at key venues like the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and the Stadium in Inglewood. The network will also include essential visitor hubs like Hollywood, Los Angeles International Airport, Santa Monica, and Orange County.
Adam Goldstein, CEO and founder of Archer Aviation, said: “We want to transform the way people get around Los Angeles and leave a legacy that shapes the future of transportation in America. There’s no better time to do that than during the LA28 Games. I can’t wait to see Midnight flying passengers over Los Angeles, emblazoned with the Team USA logo and the Olympic Rings and Paralympic Agitos.”
LA28 Chairperson and President Casey Wasserman said: “At LA28, we’re building a platform for constant innovation and creativity, which is why we’ve partnered with forward-thinking companies like Archer. Our vision is to fundamentally reimagine the Olympic and Paralympic Games experience, and this partnership represents an incredible opportunity to deliver something unprecedented, showcasing the very best of what Los Angeles has to offer on the world stage.”
