Parmigiani Fleurier has unveiled the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph Rose Gold Sandstone, a timepiece that merges technical mastery with the understated elegance of Mediterranean summer living. The watch invites wearers to experience time not merely as measurement, but as moments of serene escape.

At the heart of the timepiece beats the high-frequency PF070 calibre, a COSC-certified integrated chronograph movement operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. Engineered for flawless short-time measurement, the movement offers a 65-hour power reserve driven by a skeletonized 22-carat rose gold oscillating weight, ensuring both precision and visual appeal.

The 18-carat rose gold case features alternating satin-brushed and polished finishes that play delicately with light. The silver guilloché dial, punctuated by sand-toned sub-dials, evokes the warmth of sunlit southern shores. The “Sandstone” designation reflects both color and emotion, capturing the contemplative calm of long summer afternoons along the Mare Nostrum, from Sicily to the Mediterranean islands.

A defining feature is the distinctive Tufo-colored rubber strap, inspired by the pale volcanic stone found throughout Mediterranean landscapes. The strap is textured to evoke the appearance and feel of Cordura, a technical fabric prized for its durability and refined structure. With its corduroy-like tactility and saddle-style stitching, the strap blends resilience with artisanal finesse.

“The Tonda PF Sport Chronograph in rose gold sandstone reflects our pursuit of essential beauty in watchmaking,” said Guido Terreni, CEO of Parmigiani Fleurier. “It merges mechanical excellence, through a high-frequency chronograph calibre, with the informal elegance of a summer lifestyle.”

The watch’s dial showcases Parmigiani Fleurier’s expertise in guilloché craftsmanship, featuring the distinctive Triangular Nail pattern that enhances light reflection. Hand-applied 18-carat rose gold appliques with black luminescent coating ensure optimal legibility, while the overall design maintains the relaxed sophistication that defines the Tonda PF Sport collection.

Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph Ocean Green is the dive watch of summer
Swiss manufacturer adds fresh colorway to beloved neo-retro dive chronograph collection
Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph

Oris has introduced a striking new colorway to its popular Divers Sixty-Five chronograph collection with the Ocean Green variant, adding fresh appeal to the brand's vintage-inspired dive watch series that has charmed enthusiasts for over a decade.
The Divers Sixty-Five collection, first revived in 2015 to celebrate Oris' iconic 1965 dive watch, has evolved into a comprehensive family of neo-retro divers that blend mid-century aesthetics with contemporary mechanics. This latest chronograph iteration continues that tradition while introducing an elegant Ocean Green and silver-grey color combination.
The 40mm stainless steel case measures 15.40mm thick with a 48mm lug-to-lug span, offering substantial wrist presence while maintaining vintage proportions. The unidirectional rotating bezel features a deep green aluminum insert that draws inspiration from natural elements, whether ocean depths or the forested hillsides surrounding Oris' historic Hölstein factory.
The dial presents a sophisticated contrast with its sunray silver-grey base complemented by dark green subdials for running seconds and 30-minute counter. Applied indices and hands filled with Super-LumiNova ensure legibility in low-light conditions, while the distinctive shield-shaped index at 12 o'clock maintains the collection's vintage character. Vintage-style pump pushers flank the screw-in fluted crown, reinforcing the timepiece's retro appeal.
Powering the chronograph is Oris calibre 771, based on the reliable Sellita SW510 movement. This modern automatic chronograph delivers a practical 62-hour power reserve while operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting, combining vintage aesthetics with contemporary chronograph performance.
The watch offers 100-meter water resistance suitable for recreational diving and water sports, maintaining the collection's aquatic heritage while serving as a versatile daily timepiece. The gently domed sapphire crystal and solid caseback complete the vintage-inspired design language.
Available from July 2025, Oris provides two options: a sustainably-sourced black Cervo Volante deer leather strap with steel pin buckle for CHF 4,000, or a stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp for CHF 4,200. The Ocean Green colorway demonstrates Oris' ability to refresh classic designs while maintaining their timeless appeal.

The skeleton watch that redefines transparency
The Blast Free Wheel Maillechort

Ulysse Nardin continues to expand the boundaries of horology with the release of its new Blast Free Wheel Maillechort, a luxury watch that strips watchmaking to its artistic core. The standout component of this timepiece is its skeletonized movement, crafted from maillechort — a nickel-copper-zinc alloy revered for its silver-like luster and anti-corrosive properties. Used primarily in 19th-century marine chronometers, this rare material produces a distinctive gray hue that evolves under exposure to light. The 45mm case alternates between polished and micro-blasted surfaces to create a dynamic interplay of textures accentuating the architectural movement within.

IWC unveils elegant Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 in rose gold

The IWC Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 in Gold

IWC Schaffhausen has introduced the Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34, an elegant dress watch that brings understated luxury to a compact 34mm rose gold case. Named after the picturesque Italian seaside village, this latest addition appeals to both men and women seeking classical refinement with contemporary wearability.
While IWC's Pilot watches, Portugieser, and Ingenieur collections often dominate attention, the Portofino collection offers a more timeless and understated character that deserves equal recognition. Since its 1984 introduction, the Portofino has evolved from large 45mm and 42mm cases to more compact dimensions, reflecting changing industry trends and diverse wrist preferences.
The new model features a traditional round case measuring just 8.9mm in height, creating an elegantly slim profile despite its substantial rose gold construction. The curved and rounded bezel, case middle, and caseback ensure strong wrist presence while maintaining refined proportions.
The silver-plated dial showcases classic Portofino design elements including an applied gold-plated Roman numeral at XII, applied baton markers, and distinctive leaf-shaped hands. Adding subtle brilliance, twelve brilliant-cut diamonds are strategically positioned on the dotted peripheral minutes track, set to maximize light reflection and visual impact.
The watch's signature complication appears at 6 o'clock, where a gold-framed day and night indicator displays a large sun with golden rays and a crescent-shaped moon surrounded by different-sized stars. This charming display performs a complete rotation every 24 hours, with the sun or moon appearing in the upper section to indicate day or night.
Powering the timepiece is the automatic calibre 35180, based on the reliable Sellita SW300-1 movement. Operating at 4Hz, it delivers a practical 50-hour power reserve while providing hours, minutes, seconds with hacking function, and the day/night indicator.
The watch pairs with a 16mm taupe calfskin strap featuring an integrated quick-change system and gold butterfly folding clasp, offering both comfort and convenience. The combination of compact sizing, precious metal construction, and diamond accents creates an accessible luxury option for dress watch enthusiasts.
At EUR 17,500, the Portofino Automatic Day & Night 34 represents IWC's commitment to creating refined timepieces that blend traditional elegance with contemporary appeal. The watch demonstrates how classical complications can be presented in modern, wearable formats without sacrificing sophistication.
This release reinforces the Portofino collection's position as IWC's most versatile line, offering everything from simple time-only references to complex complications in sizes suited for diverse preferences and occasions.
