The holiday season is coming to an end in the next few weeks. You have had the Halloween Party, the Thanksgiving Dinner, and the holiday celebrations. But there is one party left for you to prepare for, and that is the New Year Countdown. As you prepare for the calendar to rollover to 2025, you may be looking into which parties to attend and what to wear to those parties. Certain parties may require you to follow a specific dress code, and others may allow you to have all the fun you want. For us, there is only one way to dress for a celebration, and that is all out. That is what Slowear wants for you as well this season, and they dropped the Slowear After 6 capsule collection to help you dress the part as you ring in the new year.

Velvet is the fabric of the season

This capsule collection has one theme in mind: Velvet. They want you wearing the most extra of extra fabrics for the celebration and they want you to do so in the classic colors of the season. This double-breasted jacket and matching pants set come in three colors. The first is the navy, for which velvet seems to have been invented. This color is perfect for the New Year party but can also be worn virtually any other time of the year. They also offer the suit in burgundy, the perfect Christmas season color, as it brings a level of class and elegance to your look. And finally, you can opt for a forest color to stand out from the crowd. This is the less popular of the seasonal colors, but hold

Style corner: Public Rec teaches us how to wear joggers
Are they lounge pants? Or can you elevate them? How to wear joggers
Public Rec charcoal joggers

Since about the middle of the 2010s, the world had started to become a little more casual, it seemed, by the day. Guys would ditch the suit at work for something closer to the business casual wardrobe. They would get rid of the dress shirt and wear a polo. They ditched their dress pants for dark denim. It seemed we got closer and closer to wearing sweatpants to work. Luckily for us, joggers hit the market and became a sensation overnight. Everywhere you turned, there was a pair of joggers. And even still, other guys wore them in place of chinos at work.

Somewhere in the void between sweatpants and chinos lies joggers. And while this enduring style of pants doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon, the knowledge of how to style joggers men need to know is getting lost. We reached out to one of the best in the business when it comes to joggers. Public Rec's senior marketing manager, Madison Bonaroti, gave us some insight.

Style hacks: Your suit should come with two pairs of pants
Remedy one of the biggest struggles with suits with this one hack
Man in Men's Wearhouse Blue Suit

When I first started selling suits, it was mostly to men who were leaving the military and starting as aides to politicians, or men working as doctors, lawyers, or accountants. Then, of course, you had the lucrative wedding business. But one thing was common among every man I sold suits to: They were hardworking and spent their days getting things done.

Now, while this sounds honorable and a fantastic way for a man to live life, working hard and providing for his family, there are some setbacks or some side effects to this lifestyle. One of them is the impact it has on your best suits. Suit pants for men are typically lighter, with an elevated fabric that doesn't always stand up to the more rigorous work of the hardest-working men. Therefore, there's a hack that you should start implementing in your suit shopping every chance you get. Every suit you own should come with a second pair of pants. It will save you years of heartache.
