Mission Workshop launched its newest backpack, the Meridian — a carryall designed to move seamlessly between daily life and travel. Made in the brand’s Los Angeles design studio, which also supports specialized gear development for U.S. military teams, this new pack is a testament to performance-driven craftsmanship.
Built with both durability and organization in mind, the Meridian uses a tough Challenge EPX 200 shell that can take a beating, while its interior is lined with a lightweight, weather-resistant ripstop fabric. It opens completely flat for easy packing — ideal for one-bag travelers or anyone who likes their gear neat and accessible.
The pack offers a dedicated compartment for tech gear, with interior pockets to keep cords, chargers, and smaller items in place. There’s even a built-in carabiner to keep keys secure. A separate padded laptop sleeve, accessible from the top, helps protect devices from impact and moisture.
Quick-grab items like your passport, headphones, or sunglasses have a home too, thanks to a front zip pocket. All zippers are military-spec and water-resistant, giving the bag a low-profile but high-performance edge.
Perhaps the most unique feature is the LandSpeeder® system — Mission Workshop’s modular attachment setup that lets you expand storage with optional side pouches and bottle holders.
Comfort-wise, the pack includes padded straps, a breathable back panel, and a sleeve to slip over a rolling suitcase.
The Meridian starts at $395 for the base pack, with kits ranging up to $535 depending on add-ons. Buyers can also customize their own setup with accessory and color choices.
With a 26-liter capacity, laptop protection, and a built-to-last construction, the Meridian offers a refined, tactical feel for travelers who don’t want to compromise on form or function.
