Wolecraft Launches A Luxury Leather Goods Collection that’s Actually Affordable

While most luxury Italian leather bags have a tendency of running buyers in the thousands of dollars, a startup out of Milan, Italy, just debuted a fresh line of leather goods that feature equal parts function, style, and affordability. Meet Wolecraft, an honest to goodness new company geared toward manufacturing and designing leather goods which deftly shed the label of “traditional.” Boasting four different variations, Wolecraft took its new product line to Kickstarter to raise enough funding to bring its innovative designs to a wider audience.

Specifically, the company looks to crowdfund a leather backpack, leather weekender, a suede leather carryall, and a leather pouch. Though each tout a list of features unique to themselves, the leather backpack delivers a unique kind of flexibility not typically seen in relative models. While it dons the moniker of a “backpack,” Wolecraft designed the piece to also function as a messenger bag or handbag, depending on how owner folds it or straps it. Furthermore, the versatility does nothing to take away from the backpack’s gorgeous aesthetic.

While the backpack features an innovative design, the other Wolecraft products also impress. Concerning the weekender, the brand first created a bag big enough to fit a short adventure’s essentials and also included two detachable, twill cotton and leather-lined pockets capable of stowing a laptop or other small items. Couple these with a Herringbone cotton arm strap and Wolecraft’s weekend is both a classy and functional travel bag.

Rounding out the collection is Wolecraft’s leather suede carryall designed to hold notebooks, passports, wallets, charge cables, etc. The perfect travel companion — or accessory addition to either the backpack or weekender — the carryall is large enough to carry a host of small necessities. For larger items, or for anyone looking for a classy way to transport their iPad, Wolecraft’s Italian vegetable tanned leather pouch is the way to go.

Available in light or dark brown, as well as black — across most all the brand’s offerings — Wolecraft’s lineup achieves the task of making quality Italian leather goods an affordable option for anyone. Each option is currently available via Kickstarter, where the campaign plans to run for a total of 30 days.

Working with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team, Adidas launched the Silver Arrow pack, a collection of fanwear inspired by the Mercedes-Benz W196 race car. Current Mercedes F1 drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli posed with items from the Silver Arrow collection along with professional models.
Why celebrate the W196?

The W196 wasn't the first Silver Arrow. The first Mercedes to be called a Silver Arrow was the Mercedes W25, which debuted in 1934. However, driver Juan Fangio won the 1954 and 1955 F1 World Championships with the W196, which was among the several models referred to by the group name. The Adidas Silver Arrow collection celebrates the 70th anniversary of the W196's first F1 Championship season.
