Best Made Co. —a favorite among the stylish, urban New York City outdoorsmen for almost a decade — has embarked on a cross-country trip and landed in Los Angles. The second-ever store, and the only West Coast location, opened November 10t to service those who have been forced to merely engage in an e-commerce relationship with the brand. Located in LA’s La Brea neighborhood at 145 South La Brea Ave., the sprawling, 2,700-square-foot outlet is sure to become a destination for Angelenos much like it has been for New Yorkers for years.

Founded in 2009 by Peter Buchanan-Smith in New York City’s TriBeCa neighborhood, Best Made Co. is an apparel and lifestyle brand with a reverence for craftsmanship, functionality, and quality. The company stands for a life of adventure, using your hands to create things, and maintaining a connection with the great outdoors. They quickly established themselves as the go-to brand for those who wanted to live a stylish lifestyle, but demanded excellence with no fuss.

The lineup includes clothing and accessories, home goods, camping gear, tools, and blades. Every Best Made item — from the apparel to the gadgets — is simple, utilitarian, and well-made.

The new shop in Los Angeles will offer an Axe Bar (you read that right — an actual Axe Bar), because Best Made’s axes are arguably the most recognizable and popular items from the stock. In addition, The Snug will be the store’s very own gallery space, rotating a well curated selection of exclusive products from local partners. Not enough? You’re in luck – the store will also house an archery range (that’s what a New York company can do when they get the square footage Los Angeles has to offer). Customers can use the range for fun or practice.

If you don’t live in LA or New York, fear not — Best Made Co. has a thriving and engaging online shop to ensure you are well-equipped no matter where your outdoor adventures take you.

Patek Philippe’s one-of-a-kind watch for the Only Watch auction is sublime
Patek Philippe introduces new watch for Only Watch 2024
Patek Philippe reference 6301A

After the postponement of the prestigious Only Watch 2023, now rescheduled for May 10, 2024, anticipation for the event is palpable. For smaller watch brands, Only Watch is the perfect setting for them to test the waters with newer concepts, but after the delay, several dropped out, while some, like Patek Philippe, saw an opportunity amidst the chaos. Instead of succumbing to delays, the brand unveiled its reference 1938 Minute Repeater Alarm last November, which was limited to just 30 watches.
Only Watch 2024: Patek Philippe reference 6301A

Now, Patek Philippe has unveiled its newest Only Watch entry, reference 6301A, consisting of a grande et petite sonnerie and minute repeater, which is surprisingly encased in steel, a rare choice for the brand. At the moment, the ref. 6301A is the sole new addition to Only Watch 2024, while the rest of the watches have been taken from last year's canceled event. While the only visual distinction between the new Patek Philippe and last year's entry is the dial, it's a departure from a more formal look.
