Today is National Ranch Water Day, to celebrate this light, refreshing, and delicious cocktail that is perfect for the warm weather. Combining tequila, lime, and mineral water, the Ranch Water is an easy to make drink that is a great addition to any Mexican meal.

You can experiment to make the drink your own as well, as these recipes from Dulce Vida Tequila show. Containing additions from reposado tequila to blueberries, with options that are spicy, sharp, or sweet, there’s an option here to please every taste, so take this opportunity to enjoy a classic cocktail on a warm spring evening.

Blanco Ranch Water

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Organic Blanco Tequila
  • 6 oz Topo Chico
  • 1 oz Lime Juice

Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Blanco and lime juice into a tall glass with ice. Fill to top with Topo Chico and garnish with lime wedge.

Reposado Ranch Water


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Organic Reposado Tequila
  • 6 oz Topo Chico

Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Reposado into a tall glass with ice. Fill to top with Topo Chico and garnish with a lime wedge.

PJ Ranch Water


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño Tequila
  • 6 oz Topo Chico

Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño into a tall glass with ice. Fill to top with Topo Chico and garnish with pineapple wedge.

Lime Ranch Water


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Lime Tequila
  • 6 oz Topo Chico

Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Lime into a tall glass with ice. Fill to top with Topo Chico and garnish with lime wheel.

Grapefruit Ranch Water


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Grapefruit Tequila
  • 6 oz Topo Chico

Directions: Pour 1.5 oz Dulce Vida Grapefruit into a tall glass with ice. Fill to top with Topo Chico and garnish with grapefruit wedge.

PJ Spicy Ranch Water

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeño Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 6 oz Topo Chico
  • Muddled Jalapeño Slices
  • Muddled Lime

Directions: Run a lime wedge around the edges of a preferred glass, immediately followed by dipping into Tajin.
Place two to three jalapeño slices and one to two lime wedges at the bottom of the glass and muddle. Then add ice, lime juice, and tequila. Top with Topo Chico and garnish with an additional jalapeño slice.

Blanco Blueberry Ranch Water

Ingredients:

  • 2oz Dulce Vida Organic Blanco Tequila
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 6 oz Topo Chico
  • Muddled Blueberries
  • Muddled Lime

Directions: Run a lime wedge around the edges of a preferred glass, immediately followed by dipping into salt.
Place four to five blueberries and one to two lime wedges at the bottom of the glass and muddle. Then add ice, lime juice, and tequila. Top with Topo Chico and garnish with a blueberry skewer.

Holiday Ranch Water


Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Dulce Vida Organic Blanco Tequila
  • .5 oz Cranberry Juice
  • .5 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • Topo Chico, to top
  • Garnishes: Lime Wheel and Cranberries

Directions: In a collins glass, combine all ingredients and gently stir. Garnish with a lime wheel and cranberries.
