First launched in 2005, Nike’s Air Max Plus VII has gone through 20 years of history to become a fan-favorite silhouette of the brand. While Nike has plenty in its lineup to explore, the Air Max Plus VII is a bold silhouette that deserves its moment to shine. Later this year, the model is expected to make its long-awaited comeback in three striking tones that mix nostalgia with modern style. Along with the design, Nike’s “Yellow Maize” will make its return, making this a dual celebration. Along with the bold yellow hue, the Air Max Plus VII will be available in two other colorways, featuring a contrasting white and black combination or a statement gradient color scheme. No matter which of the three you opt for, there’s no doubt that the Air Max Plus VII’s arrival is a welcome sign for those yearning for a retro sneaker release.
Nike’s Air Max Plus VIII arrives in three new hues

Featuring mesh uppers with contrasted dotted overlays, the three new iterations of the Air Max Plus VII come with distinct personalities and color combinations to choose from. All three colorways include the signature TN Air logo, stamping the history of the series it represents. The white pair also features a black dotted texture that resembles raindrops, along with thick laces and a matte-finish leather heel. The bold gradient version includes a similar structure, with the addition of hues of yellow, orange, and pink that bring a bold pop of color to any wardrobe. Rounding out the collection is Nike’s famed “Yellow Maize,” which features yellow uppers with silver gradient dots that mimic the appearance of liquid. All three colorways will retail for $180 each and are expected to be available on Nike platforms in the fall.
