Two new additions in carbon and yellow gold

Biver Automatique Biver / Biver

Biver is one watch brand that’s setting the standard with simple, modern designs. While the brand was only launched in 2023, it is the brainchild of one of the most famous talents of all time, Jean Claude Biver.

The Automatique collection was rolled out in late 2024, featuring two different watch series, one (Atelier) with stone dials and another with high-end casings made from titanium and gold. While Biver has expanded its offerings since then, the brand is now expanding the collection with two new timepieces, a yellow gold option and a carbon variant.

The first addition, the Automatique Yellow Gold, stands out thanks to the yellow gold casing and dial—two elements that complement each other, giving the watch a monochromatic aesthetic. Biver used a polished finish to make the watch more stylish. Some parts are accentuated by a polished finish, while other sections, such as the lugs, are highlighted by a brushed finish.

The dial reflects light stylishly due to the circular finish on the gold surface. Hour markers also add to the look with a dark hue that creates a contrast between different elements.

The second edition blends two materials, yellow gold and carbon, for a modern look. Each material has a unique finish—the carbon takes the aesthetics to another level with a knitted finish accentuated by stylish shadows. The pattern on the strap matches the one on the dial and complements the carbon material.

Like the previous models, the latest Biver Automatique additions draw energy from caliber JCB.003-C, which offers a 65-hour power reserve. The yellow gold version costs $92,025, and the carbon option retails at $109,201.
