Since the first season of John Elliott was released in the spring of 2013, this lifelong passion project has become one of the most sought after designer brands in the industry.

Season 8 was nothing less than what we expected from this West Coast designer. Basic tops in slim and oversized fits, designed with a clean, urban color palate, are paired with distressed jeans and high top premium leather sneakers to give you a fashion-forward head-to-toe look. John Elliott has also stepped up his jacket game this season with classic padded bombers, overcoats, and reversible, full-zip jackets equipped with a hood and lined with a faux fur fabric for added warmth and flare. All are trendy pieces that showcase Elliott’s creative hand and his knack for being able to transform simple designs into functional, modern fits with unique fabrics.

Elliott’s fall and winter lineup already has us geared up for the release of Season 9 next year. But, in the meantime, check out some of our favorites from Season 8 of John Elliott.

The pre-owned luxury watch market is down, but prices for these 2 Rolexes are up
Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi

According to the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most traded luxury watches, the pre-owned luxury watch market moved down around 0.1% last month, marking the sign of a patient market that wants more. This isn't necessarily surprising —the index has fallen 8.7% in the past year. But there are a couple of Rolex watches that are bucking the trend: the Rolex Starbucks and the Rolex Pepsi, which gained 3.2% and 3.3%, respectively.

The overall stagnation of the watch market can have various factors, including anticipation for newer releases. External factors like economic and geopolitical conflicts have also affected the way consumers choose to purchase watches. Prices soared during the pandemic, so a leveling out at some point was expected.
