The W Montreal Reveals Revamped Rooms

Montréal is more than just poutine, cobble stoned streets and a place that breeds good indie music. For us a visit up north is like going to Europe without the long plane ride. We can’t tell you how excited we were when we found out that Montréal has a brand new W. Taking inspiration from the Canadian city that was formerly a trading post and English colony, the rooms in the W Montréal take inspiration from its surrounding.

“W Montréal’s rooms and suites have been reimagined to reflect the iconic architecture and culture of Montréal, pulling further inspiration from the 24/7 energy of the W brand DNA,” said Anthony Ingham, Global Brand Leader, W Hotels Worldwide. “With head-turning new design and special touches at every turn, this renovation is the latest shining example of our strategy to ensure W Hotels around the world continue to deliver dynamic lifestyle experiences to our guests.”

Housed in a former bank, guests are welcomed by gilded touches accents in the building’s hallways. Inside the rooms and suites, guests will continue to find the gold accents, along with white murals, and bathrooms that have everything that a jetsetter needs. The W Montréal has 152 suites and rooms of pure luxury.

The televisions blend in seamlessly with the rooms and suites, rendered in mirror and built to look like a fireplace mantel. Wall coverings blend gothic, rococo and neo-classical influences. If you’re planning a visit to Montréal, a stay at the W Montréal will make your visit that much better. Trust us.
