The Most Funded Shoe in Kickstarter History is Back for More

The Miami-based dress-shoe crafters rose to fame in spring 2016 after their luxury Italian-leather kicks succeeded in becoming the most-backed shoe campaign in Kickstarter’s existence. Now, Ace Marks is back at it with fresh handcrafted styles for the modern gentleman.

Whether you’re looking to stand out among your coworkers for that new promotion or you’re trying to stand-out in everyday interactions, Ace Marks provides the bold, powerful statement you’re looking for in first impressions. But, as the company is quick to point out, no matter how good your shoe looks, comfort is just as important.

With the help of traditional Italian craftsman, Ace Marks created an attainable luxury dress shoe built on both functionality and flare. Made with hand-burnished Italian leather with a soft cushioned insole and flexible leather outsoles, these shoes will quickly become your go-to pair based on comfort alone. Add in Ace Mark’s unique styling and universal colorways and you’ve got yourself a mighty fine shoe as seen with the examples below.

But the quality doesn’t stop once you buy a pair of shoes. Ace Marks is the first and only luxury brand with a buyback program. Kickstarter supporters can send back their old Ace Marks for a $60 credit toward a new, full-priced pair from their website. In doing so, Ace Marks and partners Career Gear donate your old shoes to help men get back on their feet and re-enter the work force. You can find more details on the program on Ace Marks’ website.

There are also some added kickbacks if you participate in the campaign. For instance, if you pledge $50 or more, they’ll throw in some shoe accessories, the $60 buyback value for your old shoes, and free shipping in the Continental U.S. They also offer various early bird and bundle deals available that can be found along the right side of their Kickstarter page.

house of future shoes spring 2017

For at least 40,000 years now we’ve been wearing shoes.

Our feet have anatomically changed in response to strapping protective fibers and materials around them to the point where now our dainty little dogs don’t like to be bare against even warmed-up sand. And restaurants really seem to frown on the whole barefoot aesthetic. So, since you’re going to be wearing shoes most of the time, you’d better get fashionable ones. Meet House of Future, the aptly-named shoe company revolutionizing the footwear game.
