The retro sneaker trend is loud and well, and brands like Nike aren’t giving up on their vintage designs anytime soon. Home to many archival silhouettes, it’s no surprise that Nike has honed in on the trend by reviving many retro favorites. One of the newest designs to get a refresh is the Nike Daybreak. This classic 70s-era trainer is the ultimate retro runner, making it the perfect trend piece to add to any wardrobe. To emphasize the nostalgic feel, Nike is releasing three new split colorways for the Daybreak, which exude retroness at every turn. Whether you’re looking for a strong pop of color or a subtle dash of style, the new Nike Daybreaks, expected to hit later this month, are another strong indicator that statement footwear isn’t going anywhere.

Arriving in two colorways for men, the new Nike Daybreak demands attention. Crafted with a mixture of materials, the upper features suede overlays, available in two colorways: either leather or a breathable mesh upper. The traditional waffle traction underfoot remains integral to the design, with simple laces bringing it all together. For men, the Nike Daybreak will arrive in either “Limelight and Healing Jade”, a mix of tonal greens with a splash of orange appearing in the “Swoosh” logo. The second option, “Blue Void and Diffused Blue,” exudes a more subdued combination, featuring a mix of blues contrasted by silver accents and a white logo and midsole. Similar in shape to the Nike Cortez sneaker, the Daybreak features a more retro design that surprisingly appears modern. Both colorways will be available via Nike’s platforms on July 29 at 7:00 AM for $105 each.
