Porsche’s 911 Turbo S Spreads Its Gold-Plated Wings as the 911 Exclusive

The Porsche 911 Turbo S offers supercar-humbling acceleration and incredible top-end performance for under $200,000. However, until the next 911 GT2 RS breaks cover with what we expect to be well over 600 horsepower, Porsche enthusiasts can only graduate from the 911 Turbo S to the sold-out, $845K Porsche 918 Spyder.

Fortunately, Porsche now has a remedy. The 911 Turbo S Exclusive will bring more power, unique styling, and a loftier price point to satisfy those that want more of, well, everything. Specifically, the Exclusive Series will increase power to 607 horses (up 27 over the Turbo S) and drop 0 to 124 mph acceleration by 0.3 seconds, to 9.6 seconds. 0-60 is still quoted at 2.8 seconds, but we’d wager the right conditions could knock a tenth of a second off that. Same goes for the top speed of 205 mph.

Apart from the additional power, the 911 Turbo S Exclusive gets a golden-yellow metallic paint, center-locking 20-inch wheels in black and gold, black and gold carbon ceramic brakes, a larger carbon fiber rear wing, a carbon fiber roof and trunk, dual black exhaust tips, and a redesigned front fascia.

Inside, gold accents are sprinkled throughout the cabin, copper thread is woven into the carbon fiber treatments, and 911 Exclusive badging adorns both doorsills. Porsche has also designed a watch and luggage package to accompany the vehicle. The five-piece luggage set will retail for $6,324 and the watch has yet to be priced.

By the time Porsche’s “Exclusive Manufaktur” is finished with the 911 Turbo S, a once-reticent supercar has been fully extracted from its shell.

Only 500 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusives will be built worldwide, each at a starting price of $257,500. Porsche is currently taking orders, so if you gotta have that gold, raise your wallets now!

2025 Ford Explorer recall
2025 Ford Explorer Platinum and 2025 Ford Explorer ST barked on stones by lakeside with moutains in the background.

Ford is recalling another 24,655 vehicles this week. This time, the units in question are of the 2025 Explorer due to a serious issue that could cause the SUV to lose power or fail to shift into park. This problem is all about the powertrain control module (PCM) software, which can randomly reset and lead to some frustrating and potentially dangerous issues for drivers.

A faulty park system can cause a car to roll away if it’s parked without the parking brake on. Beyond that, if the engine stalls while you’re driving, you can suddenly lose power. Both of these issues can increase the chances of an accident.
