The Nordstrom exclusive Levi’s x Justin Timberlake collection launched October 4th and we’re pretty impressed with what ole JT’s got going on.
The collection, “Fresh Leaves,” features everything we love from Levi’s bundled with creative input from Grammy-award winning artist Justin Timberlake. From a standout 501 slim taper jean to suave, oversized hooded flannels, a sleek sherpa trucker jacket, and more – the Levi’s x Justin Timberlake collection aims to add some new flavor to the classic Levi’s appearance.
This collaboration is much more than just two iconic names coming together, too. The collection offers you the chance to convey your own updated, yet timeless image, much like JT does in his music and fashion sense.
“Inspired by the stories behind Justin’s music, we used classic materials,” says Karyn Hillman, Chief Product Officer for Levi Strauss & Co. “Canvas, plaids, camo, flannels, sherpa and denim…and (we) put them onto familiar silhouettes and Levi’s icons, remixing them with streetwear elements and hits of modernity.”
It’s at the intersection of nostalgic and contemporary where genius ideas find their path, and this collection falls nowhere short. With simple fall aesthetics and seasonally appropriate functionality, the Levi’s x Justin Timberlake collection has everything a man needs right now.
“Clothes are as important to a musician’s creative process and performance as the music itself. This Levi’s collection is my attempt to share some of my experiences with fans,” said Timberlake in a statement.
