Live Like a Bond Villain on the World’s Largest Submersible Super Yacht

When you have Jeff Bezos money and James Bond villain swagger, you need your super yacht to have that little something extra that sets it apart. Like something out of a childhood fantasy, Migaloo is a completely customizable yacht that also happens to be a submarine.

The brainchild of Motion Code: Blue, an Austrian company specializing in luxury yacht concept design, the Migaloos are available from 236 feet up to a staggering 928 feet long. To get an idea of just how long that is, it’s the equivalent of three Statue of Liberties stacked on top of each other.

These yachts are inspired by the Navy’s Zumwalt-class destroyers, so not only are that super luxurious, they’re totally badass. If The Poseidon Adventure taught us anything, it’s that life on the high seas isn’t always smooth sailing. That’s when Migaloo dives deep, avoiding the rough waters above and providing you with a comfortable, climate-controlled living environment (and zero chance of your ship flipping upside down in a storm). Using the specifications for the Navy’s Virginia-class attack subs as a jumping off point for the design, Motion Code: Blue claims their submarine yachts can stay submerged for several weeks.

Having trouble deciding how to trick out your super yacht? Migaloo is available in four pre-designed options, starting with the “small” M2, which is 72 meters long, and going all the way up to the behemoth M7 that can be built to 283 meters, making it the world’s largest submersible super-yacht.

Each style includes luxury features worthy of that supervillian life, allowing you and three dozen of your closest friends to party at sea indefinitely. Migaloo yachts have it all: swimming pools, helipads, underwater viewing galleries for spotting sea life, movie rooms, and plenty of bars sprinkled throughout. If you can dream it, your Migaloo yacht probably comes with it. And don’t worry about where to store all of your ocean-exploring toys. Each yacht has dry hangars and wet garages that can hold everything from jet skis to mini subs.

These yachts are still just a concept; no one has stepped up to actually buy one yet. But that hasn’t stopped us from fantasizing about how incredible it would be to own one. And while you’re at it, you might as well order the matching private floating island, which comes decked out with palm trees, a beach, underwater dining room, and of course a shark feeding station, because why not.

Aston Martin released the details on the upcoming 2025 DBX707 luxury performance SUV. The ICE powertrain and mechanicals remain largely the same as the current model, with good reason, but Aston Martin focused on elevating the next DBX707's interior and infotainment technology to an even higher level of luxury. Aston Martin delayed its first EV in favor of customer preferences, but the gorgeous interior in the new DBX707 shows the famed automaker isn't shy about pushing forward.
2025 Aston Martin DBX707: why it matters

Aston Martin has crafted luxurious performance vehicles for over a century, blending style and power for a clientele with demanding standards. With its continued competitive presence in the 2024 F1 racing schedule, Aston Martin is no slouch for building fast cars. The DBX707, introduced in 2022, has been dubbed the fastest SUV, clocking 192 mph on the Autobahn in Germany, where much of the highway has no speed limit.

The 2025 Mercedez-Benze EQS Sedan will arrive at U.S. dealerships later in 2024 with significant upgrades. In addition to new exterior design features, the EQS Sedan will have a greater range due to its larger battery and new regenerative braking software. New rear seat comfort features may discourage passengers from wanting to leave the car.
Why the 2025 Mercedes-EQS updates matter

Besides Mercedes-Benz's traditional role as a standard-setter for the automotive world, there are two additional reasons to follow EQS developments. EVs present a new frontier for all existing automakers, which carries risks but also provides an open opportunity for outstanding game-changing advances and innovations. Mercedes-Benz definitely wants to continue in that role with EVs.

How much do Formula 1 pit crew and mechanics make?
Pit crews are highly trained athletes who are paid accordingly
Red Bull F1 race car in pit for tire change with pit crew in motion

Considering that a Formula 1 race car costs about $15 million, it's reasonable to assume the people who work with them are paid exceptionally well. Watching a Formula 1 pit crew during a pit stop is a near-magical experience. Viewers aren't privy to everything during a pit stop, but seeing an F1 pit crew change four racing tires in less than 2.5 seconds is astonishing. And that's just the average time (see below for the record pit stop times).

Pit crews get plenty of attention for their synchronized efficiency, which raises the question of how much Formula 1 pit crew and mechanics get paid. Estimates for pit crew and mechanic salaries range from $30,000 for a person who stands by with a fire extinguisher in hand to $1,000,000 for an F1 pit crew chief.
