Get Lost On Your Terms With Hudway Sight AR Helmet

There are times I love getting lost on a motorcycle. In fact, most times I ride, I’d rather get lost than have a predetermined destination. It’s what motorcycling is all about. There are, however, times where getting lost isn’t that great or when you really need to know where the hell you’re going. Up until now, though, GPS directions have only been routed through headsets and earbuds. Hudway Sight, however, aims to change that with its head-up AR display.

Built so that it can be added to virtually any helmet, the Hudway Sight AR unit gives riders the ability to wirelessly connect to their phone and display a host of apps and data in a bid to help riders on their journey. The AR unit clips into the helmet’s structure and gives the rider an unobstructed forward view with superimposed maps, apps, and more on a clear glass single eye screen. No more looking down at handlebar-mounted phones here, meaning less of a chance of an accident or collision.

What the Hudway Sight AR is capable of doing is wirelessly connect to your phone through Bluetooth, provide the rider with a host of apps; including navigation, music, voice call functionality, and vehicle data. It will also last for a hefty amount of riding time thanks to a battery life of up to five hours. The full-color display will also correct for brightness, depending on ambient lighting; i.e. day to night shifts.

Two absolutely neat optional features are the Hudway Sight AR’s rearview camera mode and night vision. For motorcycle riders, the rearview camera mode is a brilliant add-on. There have been far too many riders killed because they couldn’t see what was going on behind them. And as for the night vision, there has definitely been a handful of times I’ve wished I could see better in the dark coming home late evening.

The best part of the Hudway Sight AR system is that it weighs practically nothing (only 54 grams) and thus won’t upset your helmet’s weight balance from neutral to one side or the other. Pricing hasn’t been released yet as the Hudway Sight AR system is still very much in its infancy, but based on the tech specs and promises by the company, this is set to make riding a heck of a lot safer in the very near future.

Acura NSX EV: What we know so far
The Acura NSX EV isn't coming soon but here's what we know
Honda NSX, Mondial Paris Motor Show 2018

After Acura promised a future Acura NSX EV in 2021, auto enthusiasts have been waiting with bated breath. In the past three years, very little has been shared. Still, the brand hinted that since the first generation NSX was a gas vehicle and the second generation was a hybrid, the third generation of the NSX model would be a fully electric vehicle.

We also know that the NSX model will feature Acura's "electric vision" as part of its design. This makes the model more powerful, sexier, and, of course, fully electric. But what else do we know? In this article, we've discussed what we know so far about the Acura NSX EV, including its rumored release date! Let's dive in.

Tesla unleashes the Model 3 Performance: More than the sum of its parts
The fastest small Tesla is a bargain speedster

Earlier in 2024, Tesla refreshed the Model 3 rear-wheel drive and dual-motor AWD versions but did not update the Model 3 Performance variant. The wait is over, and with Tesla's recent price reductions, the refreshed Model 3 Performance is an amazing deal for a car with sub-3-second 0-60 mph acceleration and nearly 300 miles of range.
Why the Tesla Model 3 Performance matters so much

The Tesla Model 3 Performance fills a void in the existing lineup since the January 2024 refresh. The update included new headlight and taillight designs and new color choices, including the Ultra Red in the Model 3 Performance photo above. The new Model 3s also gained ventilated front seats, an 8-inch display for rear-seat passengers, a quieter cabin, and more luxurious seating. The updates were welcome, but removing the Performance trim from Tesla's online order sheet disappointed buyers who wanted even more speed than the RWD and standard dual-motor AWD versions.
