Crew Team: A Guide to Classic Sweatshirts

“A plain coloured, beautifully made sweatshirt is exactly the type of clothing that would actually be useful to have throughout your lifetime,” British designer/entrepreneur Tom Cridland told The Huffington Post UK in August 2015 upon the launch of his “30 Year Sweatshirt,” his organic cotton take on the apparel staple that is so durable and fade-resistant that he guarantees that it will last three decades.

A longtime and staunch proponent of the classic cotton crew neck pullover sweatshirt (especially versus its younger brother the zip-up hoodie), I couldn’t agree with Mr. Cridland more. Although they were created as training gear for jocks in the 1920s, these now evergreen tops thankfully crossed over into mainstream life in later years. Worn solo or as a layering piece, they are timeless, comfortable, good-looking no-brainers of a guy’s wardrobe, a fact that was even supported by that genius Albert Einstein. (See photographic evidence here.)

So whether your favorite sweatshirt has finally given up the ghost after 30 years or you just want to supplement it with a slightly more modern – yet still ageless – model, here are 16 terrific present-day options from which to choose….

Although watches tend can come in various colors and designs, they are timeless and elegant. These sleek accessories have earned their spot in all wardrobes as they make for the perfect touch to any look and make for a wonderful collection to start. The pre-owned luxury watch market is down, but prices for these 2 Rolexes are up
Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi

According to the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most traded luxury watches, the pre-owned luxury watch market moved down around 0.1% last month, marking the sign of a patient market that wants more. This isn't necessarily surprising —the index has fallen 8.7% in the past year. But there are a couple of Rolex watches that are bucking the trend: the Rolex Starbucks and the Rolex Pepsi, which gained 3.2% and 3.3%, respectively.

The overall stagnation of the watch market can have various factors, including anticipation for newer releases. External factors like economic and geopolitical conflicts have also affected the way consumers choose to purchase watches. Prices soared during the pandemic, so a leveling out at some point was expected.
What are the ‘Starbucks’ and ‘Pepsi’ watches from Rolex?
