The Manual’s Collaboration with Moore & Giles

For our second collaborative project we are excited to have worked with Virginia based leather company, Moore & Giles. We met these folks down in Austin, Texas at the Northern Grade pop up and have been drinking buddies ever since. Founded in 1933, Moore & Giles is known not just for their bags. From aviation to residential and hospitality interior design (and a soon to be released bar cart!) they are well respected for their timeless leathers.

When we got down to business it didn’t take long for us to realize a padded laptop portfolio would be the way to go for our first project.

Our guys are always on the go and a portfolio is perfect for a laptop, keys, a notebook and of course a flask. We chose a blue ‘Pacific’ colored distressed leather as a unique but not over the top color-way that stands out without being too in-your-face. Another subtle design is our logo pressed into the center tab. We appreciate that the Italian leather was inspired by some old Parisian club chairs the team had seen in a French flea market.

We worked with Moore & Giles on this video to present how the collaboration came about. We hope you enjoy. There were only 50 made, so don’t dawdle but order one today.

Garmin upgrades the solar functionality on the new Instinct 3
New Garmin Instinct 3 is more powerful
Garmin Instinct 3

Garmin presents the new Instinct 3 collection of tactical watches with advanced tactical functionalities to enhance the user experience. It features three watches—a 45mm solar version, a 50 mm solar option, and a 45 mm AMOLED piece. The solar variants are designed to offer unlimited battery power to tackle the toughest outdoor expeditions. A bigger screen means more surface area for solar energy.

While the battery goes a long way in providing an enhanced user experience, the watch’s durability is also quite crucial, so the brand upgraded the bezel and reinforced it for multiple activities. The solar functionality is also more powerful than that featured on the previous model. It’s about five times more efficient than the Instinct 2 feature.

Breguet Classique Souscription

Breguet brings back a watch from the 18th century that won many hearts with its one-arm design.

In the early 18th century, Breguet watches had a high price tag; the founder designed a watch that could meet the demands of those looking for a budget-friendly piece. Apart from offering affordability to watch enthusiasts, the model also passed down the brand’s legacy with its unique and pioneering design, which was quite new at that time.
