U.K. Pop Singer Jordi Whitworth on Going from ‘The X Factor’ to a Solo Music Career

Today we meet Jordi Whitworth, a 22-year-old musician, actor, and model from Essex, England who appears in an upcoming E4 Series “Stage School.”

Hello, my name is Jordi Whitworth! At the moment, I appear on a television series for E4 in the United Kingdom called Stage School, while also working on my own original music. I released my debut solo single, “Fire,” at the beginning of the summer, and I recently started filming my first feature film in London. I started my career in modeling and by becoming an extra on a few mainstream television shows in the U.K., but then I was asked to be in the BBC sitcom Big School with David Walliams and Catherine Tate. Shortly after, I became involved in the music industry after being scouted for the boy band Overload and subsequently appearing on The X Factor, which is where I truly found my passion for this line of work.

As for my personal style:

Jeans: Topshop Black Jeans (yes, the ones from the women’s section). I was originally introduced to the Topshop jeans by the stylist on The X Factor and loved them straight away. I love the skinny fit styles, and I’m always a fan of the distressed look to give it some more style.

Shirts: Father Sons have a perfect fit. They are made from a lovely material, and have a fitted but also slightly longer size, which is my kind of style.

Pants: Calvin Klein or Tommy Hilfiger.

Suits: I like Noose & Monkey suits because they have a nice quality, and I tend to try different things with patterns or materials. So if you are looking for a suit to stand out from the crowd, I highly recommend it.

Shoes: I get my shoes from a shop called Choice Men’s. They have a variety of styles and brands, so I can shop from a large variety all at once.

Accessories: I have this gold Versace necklace with a large pendant of their iconic Medusa head that I like to wear occasionally. It is definitely a statement piece, so I like to wear it when I’m wearing a simpler shirt so it balances out the look without looking too loud.

Outerwear: Canada Goose or Arctic Army. Arctic Army is this great company in the U.K. that makes custom-made fur parkas and bomber jackets. It definitely keeps me warm on those cold or rainy adventures.

Favorite cologne: Creed Aventus. I think cologne is one of those things that give a look the final touch. Even though it isn’t something you can see, it gives you that confidence boost and that feeling of being ready to head out. I recently started using Creed Aventus, and I like that is has a masculine scent, but it is not one of those over powering musks. I honestly think I’ve gone through 30 bottles.

Favorite app: Instagram is my favorite app at the moment. I think sharing your life through photos is so much more interesting than just words. I also think the new live component is a great way to connect with fans. When I was traveling, I was able to spend time with them and show them a bit of what I was experiencing, and it felt like we were on an adventure together.

Next style/gear purchase: Louboutin’s Aurelien Calf/Tisse Serre/Neopren. Anyone who knows me knows that I have an unhealthy love for trainers. These trainers are simple enough to go with a lot of different outfits, but also stylish enough to stand out and make a statement. I also like that they have a retro, athletic vibe to them.

The pre-owned luxury watch market is down, but prices for these 2 Rolexes are up
Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi

According to the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most traded luxury watches, the pre-owned luxury watch market moved down around 0.1% last month, marking the sign of a patient market that wants more. This isn't necessarily surprising —the index has fallen 8.7% in the past year. But there are a couple of Rolex watches that are bucking the trend: the Rolex Starbucks and the Rolex Pepsi, which gained 3.2% and 3.3%, respectively.

The overall stagnation of the watch market can have various factors, including anticipation for newer releases. External factors like economic and geopolitical conflicts have also affected the way consumers choose to purchase watches. Prices soared during the pandemic, so a leveling out at some point was expected.
What are the ‘Starbucks’ and ‘Pepsi’ watches from Rolex?
