Minoxidil: The Miracle Answer to Beardlessness?

Minoxidil
Patchy, beardlesslness bringing you down? Minoxidil, or a Rogaine-like solution for your beard, is a miracle hair growth solution that’ll help you grow the luxurious set of whiskers you’ve always wanted.

It’s true that a persistent shave routine and avid grooming are both great methods to gaining a fuller, thicker beard. But sometimes, those strong, bare-faced genetics are tough to tackle.

There are some products, such as Vitabeard and Beard Grow XL, which promote facial hair growth; however, when it comes to obtaining that brawny, brazen beard you’ve always wanted, FDA approved Minoxidil is going to be your best bet. Hell, it even has the science and the policy to back it up.

Minoxidil

Minoxidil also happens to be the active ingredient in Rogaine, the hair regrowth treatment, so you know this isn’t some ambiguous new medication. Nonetheless, the treatment can induce some side effects: which include a fast or irregular heartbeat, irritation of the skin, weight gain, and a few others listed on popular hypochondriac-creator, WebMD.

(Note: It’s also recommended that you do not use Minoxidil as a treatment for hair loss on the scalp or sudden, patchy hair loss. Check in with your doctor to make sure you have the correct application methods.)

Kirkland Signature is currently offering a six-month supply on Amazon for just $29. Or, if you want to hop face first into the beard life, they also offer a years supply of Minoxidil for $52.

Alright, so what is Minoxidil all about? Simply, as we state above, it promotes hair growth that’ll transform you from bare-faced to beardsman. Seems easy, right?

Yes, but also no. Minoxidil was not designed to magically create hair on your face as much as it stimulates the hair follicles you already have in your beard to promote more and better growth. This stimulation doesn’t happen quickly either, so don’t go entering beard styling competitions after a a couple months. Most men tend to experience substantial growth and major beard goals after six to nine months of treatment.

And don’t forget, as most beard growers have experienced, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and grooming your beard is essential to obtaining a full, thick beard. Pick yourself up a quality beard oil to curb beardruff, a beard-balm to prevent skin irritation and redness, stay hydrated, and get your 8-hours of beauty sleep to ensure good results.

Remember 2020, when life went virtual and everything from morning huddle-ups to happy hours shifted to Zoom? It's been a while (thankfully). It certainly had its drawbacks — mainly, many humans crave in-person interactions and socialization by nature. However, there was a hidden bonus: You didn’t have to deal with anyone’s bad breath or worry that someone else was dealing with yours.

Bad breath, also called halitosis, is an annoying condition. It happens to the best of us. Common causes of bad breath include eating certain foods, such as fish or something seasoned with garlic. More than pesky, it can also be embarrassing and lower self-esteem, according to one study. Sometimes, bad breath can even be a sign of something more concerning.
