Game of Thrones x John Varvatos Collection Drops Just in Time for Final Season Premiere

Fans of Game of Thrones, get ready — there’s something more than winter coming.

That’s right, diehard menswear aficionados and “Throne” fans alike have a little something extra to wear and enjoy as the final season of GOT approaches on Sunday, April 14 (finally).

Rock and roll inspired designer John Varvatos and HBO are partnering on Game of Thrones x John Varvatos, an official, exclusive collaborative collection of menswear inspired by the popular series. Whether or not you’ve powered through and caught up with each episode of the acclaimed series, this collection is worth a look. And there no spoilers, we promise.

With 11 different pieces to satisfy your appetite for killer style, from the seriously expensive Winterfell Leather Jacket (pricing in at more than $2,600) to the more affordably priced Heritage Henley, the Game of Thrones x John Varvatos is the menswear-TV mashup you didn’t know you needed in your life, and it couldn’t come at a better time.

The real kicker here is that Varvatos has turned the visually striking world of Westeros into a menswear collection that captures the texture of the show — from the linen-cotton Kingsroad Pants, featuring a tapered fit and a distressed finish, to the heavy-washed linen construction of the Heritage Henley (pair up both with a denim jacket or perhaps one of the leather jackets from the collaboration itself).

For the guy who prefers his everyday carry essentials to have a bit of flair, there’s also the Traveler Bag, which doesn’t look too far off from something you’d see slung across the back of a horse-mounted rider on the show. There’s also a run of graphic T-shirts, including one with that famed phrase, “Winter Is Coming” (hey, you had to know that was being made, right?).

But the real king of this collection is the aforementioned Winterfell Leather Jacket, with all the edgy appeal you’d expect from a John Varvatos leather jacket (and a price tag to match).

Are you really a fan of Game of Thrones if you don’t pick up a piece from this collection? We’ll leave that for you to decide. Pledge your allegiance wisely, Westerosians!

Sad you don’t see any footwear included in the above collection? Look instead to Adidas that has a whole slew of shoes to help you rep your House pride.

The collection throws it back to the Portugieser of the 1930s, where the design got its first inspiration from those gorgeous navigational watches on the deck of a ship. Keep that nautical theme in your head because each piece in the collection has celestial details as the star.

Cartier Rewind on wrist

Wristwatches may be distinctly masculine pieces of hardware now, thanks to some very popular people in pop culture and in our own history adopting them. British super spy James Bond, movie stars, and athletes are the people we look up to who wear watches that catch our eye. Soldiers, cops, firefighters, and first responders wear watches they trust to ensure they can save lives. Pilots and divers created an entire industry around watches specifically designed for their vocations. And the very first pilot's watch was none other than a Cartier watch.

Alberto Santos-Dumont was a pioneer in the flight world and was one of the first people on Earth to achieve air travel. He was a competitor of the Wright Brothers, and, depending on the source, he preceded them in flight. In any case, the French celebrity went to Louis Cartier, another pioneer of his craft, and procured a square timekeeper meant for the wrist. The Cartier Santos Dumont was born. Over a century later, Cartier attended Watches and Wonders and presented the newest in the line of Santos watches, one that reverses time.
