TGIF Shopping: Miller High Life Teams With Stock Mfg. Co. For Capsule Collection And NY Pop-Up

Miller High Life (yurp, the beer brewer) has teamed up with Chicago menswear company, Stock Mfg. Co., to create a line of men’s custom clothing inspired by vintage High Life ads.

Miller High Life opened their vaults to allow the Stock Mfg. team to sift through decades of old advertisements to inspire a six-piece collection, all of which will be on display at the Miller High Life pop-up shop open today and tomorrow (October 16-17) in the Lower East Side of New York City.

Miller High Life is in the midst of releasing a limited-edition Heritage series – basically, bottles and cans that tell the story of Miller High Life’s history,” explains Jim Snediker Founder/CEO of Stock Mfg. Co.. “They approached us to do a collaboration to celebrate the brand’s heritage, and we came back with the idea to create a capsule collection inspired by Miller High Life’s vintage ads.  Miller High Life opened the vaults and let us sift through decades of old advertisements to get an idea of their rich history, and ultimately inspire each piece.”

The collection includes a shooting jacket ($250), trucker jacket ($175), fisherman’s shirt ($88), riding pants ($88), vintage hat ($45), and a pocket tee ($35).

The pop-up shop will be open today and tomorrow from 11am-7pm. From 5pm to 7pm both days, the shop will convert into a happy-hour space with High Life, food, and DJ Calco. On Friday, Blind Barber will be on hand during happy hour offering trims and shaves and an embroider will there offering customizations to the collection.

“What’s great about this collection is how natural the fit was. Both High Life and Stock are committed to providing a high quality product at a fair price, and neither brand is willing to compromise on those values. We have a lot of overlap in our customer bases, as Stock and High Life both have very strong followings amongst guys that work in the creative and hospitality industries. “

But the most telling detail about why this was such a great partnership? “We already had High Life on tap in our shop long before we ever started working on this project!”
