Should you buy the Nintendo Switch or the Nintendo Switch OLED?

Before you buy anything, it’s important to think about which Nintendo Switch is best for you. The original Nintendo Switch is typically cheaper to buy but it has a slightly smaller 6.2-inch screen than the 7-inch OLED model. Also, the OLED model — as the name suggests — has an OLED screen so it’s brighter and offers more vibrant colors thanks to its self-lit pixels that work independently of each other.

The Nintendo Switch OLED also has 64GB of internal storage compared to 32GB although that’s less of an issue as you can always add a microSD card to expand storage. A little more interestingly, the OLED has a built-in Ethernet port if you prefer to connect your console to your network via an Ethernet cable.

As you can see, the big difference is that screen. If you plan on playing undocked and on the move, the Nintendo Switch OLED is the one to buy as the display looks fantastic. However, if you’re planning on mostly playing hooked up to your TV, the standard Nintendo Switch will do just fine.

A depiction of a man using a Bosch Woodworking Hand Planer on the side of a door.

Getting your tool collection together is essential if you want to succeed with home or automotive repair and DIY jobs. Unfortunately, there are hundreds of types of tools and many of them can be quite expensive. To keep your collection down to an affordable size, you can focus on the most essential tools first. Another great idea is to browse Home Depot tools, including at your local store. Both of these techniques help you figure out what you want and will really use. In both of these cases, however, you can still end up paying a ton of money that you otherwise wouldn't if you were shopping thriftily.

So, to give you a leg up on ever-changing prices, we endeavored to look out for great power tool deals. We're sorting by brand, as most power tools today are cordless and use a special brand-associate battery. For example, if you have a Milwaukee M18 battery you can use it with all Milwaukee M18 tools. In this way, sticking to one brand (and battery size) is highly efficient. To use this guide best, start with brands you know and then go from there. We'll also have battery deals listed, if we find them, so you can get started with a new brand on the cheap.

With Black Friday slowly rolling on us, there are many great early Black Friday deals you can take advantage of, such as this North Face Black Friday sale on outdoor stuff or this Tumi Black Friday sale on wallets, bags, and suitcases. One of the things that's great to grab during Black Friday and Cyber Monday is electronics, and that's why we're already seeing great sales on things like TVs. Why you should buy the Insignia 50-inch Class F30 Series
One thing that's great about the F30 Series from Insignia is that it's very budget-friendly, especially since the brand was created under the premise of being budget-oriented but still provides great features. That's how you can get a 50-inch TV that gives you 4k resolution.
