Do As The Italians Do: Wear Navy Blazers

We are just coming off of the men’s shows in Europe, and we have a pretty gnarly style hangover from looking at new collections and street snaps alike. Although we saw a lot of cool pieces we can’t wait to get our hands on for spring 2014, there is one affair in particular that caught our eye more than anything else. Pitti Uomo, the annual men’s tradeshow in Florence, Italy, brings so much incredible style to the streets, it’s like a dapper bomb exploded all over the ancient cobblestones. Our favorite trend? Navy blazers.

Sure it’s the middle of summer and temperatures are well into the high 70s and 80s, but the heat was no match for the double-breasted sport coats, three-piece linen suits and manliest of man beards. And although we loved everything from the floral shirts to brogues of every color, navy blazers were most definitely best in show this year. A perfect color for every season (especially summer), navy is the quintessential style marriage of classic and modern at this very moment. Still shopping for your perfect match? Check out six of our favorites and do as the Italians do.

The pre-owned luxury watch market is down, but prices for these 2 Rolexes are up
Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi

According to the Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks the 50 most traded luxury watches, the pre-owned luxury watch market moved down around 0.1% last month, marking the sign of a patient market that wants more. This isn't necessarily surprising —the index has fallen 8.7% in the past year. But there are a couple of Rolex watches that are bucking the trend: the Rolex Starbucks and the Rolex Pepsi, which gained 3.2% and 3.3%, respectively.

The overall stagnation of the watch market can have various factors, including anticipation for newer releases. External factors like economic and geopolitical conflicts have also affected the way consumers choose to purchase watches. Prices soared during the pandemic, so a leveling out at some point was expected.
What are the ‘Starbucks’ and ‘Pepsi’ watches from Rolex?
