TGIF Shopping: Victor Cruz Teams Up With Denim Brand 3×1

New York Giants Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz is teaming up with premium denim retailer 3×1 for an exclusive collaboration.

The Pro Bowler is no stranger to the world of menswear. Regarded as one of the best-dressed men in the NFL, Cruz served as an Ambassador for the first NYFW: Men’s earlier this year.

Cruz thought up the capsule collection after returning from a recent “inspiration tour” of Japan (you know, as one does).

“I have been a huge fan of 3×1 ‘s program for a long time, and the concept of bespoke denim intrigued me,” says Cruz. “Their understanding of imported denim from around the world and a focus on fit was what drew me to the brand. My friend introduced me to Scott and we clicked immediately. Our aesthetics aligned in fluid ways and I knew this was the right brand to partner with for my first creative collab.”

The result is a 5-piece denim collection, including a classic shirt jacket, long sleep asymmetrical ombre shirt, trousers with coated denim tuxedo stripe, ripped jeans, and a military coat.

“Designing this collection gave me an opportunity to create pieces I have always wanted to wear, but could never find. For both buying and designing I believe in pieces that are classic, and wearable over and over again. I purchase, and want to bring to market, pieces men want to live in on a daily basis.”

The 3×1 by Victor Cruz collection is now available exclusively on Farfetch, through the site’s boutique partner the Webster Miami. Prices range from $325 for the jeans to $1,325 for the coat.

Spring colors are some of the brightest and lightest on the color wheel, including pastels and lighter tones of your reds, greens, blues, and purples.

When putting together spring colors for men, there are some great options to ensure your looks are always top-notch. One of our favorite resources is Max Israel of Y. Chroma. His entire system is built for ease of color use, and while you may feel a little initial unpleasantness getting outside your comfort zone, adopting these five color combinations will ease you into some more fun palettes and get your wardrobe to the point of being the talk of the town.

The German racing legend jointly holds the record for most F1 world championships won, sitting alongside Lewis Hamilton with seven. Like Lewis, Schumacher also has an impressive watch collection, though that is about to get a bit smaller.

In total, eight of Schumacher’s timepieces are set to go under the hammer in May. All-in-all, around $4.8 million is expected to be raised, though there’s a chance this figure could be significantly higher should two affluent fans get into a bidding war.
