We love designer collaborations, especially when they involve two brands we know are dedicated to high quality and superior craftsmanship. This exciting partnership is between Bills Khakis, a brand that specializes in American-made sportswear, and Mulholland, the California based luxury leather brand – and the collection has our names written all over it.

Bills Khakis has partnered up with Mulholland to create a specialty travel collection, filled with fall essentials. Rugged waxed canvas is dipped in paraffin wax for added strength and water resistance. Quilted twill tops and zippers galore, not to mention plenty of storage. But what is it that gives this rugged collaboration an extra push? The bags are hand sewn – and that screams dedication. So lets get into the details.

Berkeley Duffel – Your new travel companion. This bag was built in San Francisco and will carry all of your items comfortably. The size is perfect; fitting everything you need, while still stowing perfectly into an overhead department. There are three outside zip pockets, one of which is deep enough to stash a pair of shoes. The rolled leather handles make hand carrying a breeze and each piece will develop a unique look due to the waxes in the canvas, which will develop handsome patina overtime.

Dopp Kit – Never underestimate the power of a good dopp kit. Razor (check), toothpaste, (check), swagger (double-check) – carry all of your grooming must haves in this quilted toiletry bag. The paraffin waxed coated canvas will deflect any moisture and you’ll keep you basic needs in check with a dapper dopp kit.

Officer’s Bag- If you can’t get enough Bills Khaki x Mulholland, then don’t limit yourself to their travel accessories – you can use this workbag everyday. The canvas material will evolve overtime, hold all of your stuff, withstand the elements, and the lightweight material will help prevent pinched nerves. Most importantly, you’ll look good. And that’s all that really matters after all.

All of these products are available at select specialty stores nationwide, and of course on BillsKhakis.com

There’s a reason this travel spot is known as the Maldives of Mexico
An affordable alternative to the Maldives
Color graded picture of a pier with clouds and blue water at the Laguna Bacalar, Chetumal, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Picture pristine turquoise waters stretching as far as the eye can see, surrounded by lush greenery and white sandy beaches. This luxurious scene isn’t just a dream reserved for far-off destinations like the Maldives. Situated in the southeastern corner of Mexico lies a hidden gem that rivals the beauty of its distant Asian counterpart: Bacalar.

Bacalar, often referred to as the “Maldives of Mexico,” is a gorgeous destination renowned for the Bacalar Lagoon, otherwise known as the “Lagoon of Seven Colors.” Bacalar, Mexico’s crystal clear waters, resemble the famous hues of the Indian Ocean surrounding the Maldives. But what sets Bacalar apart isn’t just its striking resemblance to the Maldives—it’s the accessibility, affordability, and unique experiences it offers travelers without the lengthy journey. So pack your bags and head to Mexico.
Where is Bacalar, Mexico?

The Grand Canyon National Park has announced the much-anticipated reopening of Havasupai Gardens Campground, Bright Angel Trail, and Tonto Trail, set for April 15, 2024. This marks a celebratory moment for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers, as one of the most renowned trails in the park becomes accessible once again after a temporary closure.

These closures began way back in December 2023 due to the Transcanyon Waterline project at the Grand Canyon National Park. This project involved extensive construction activities aimed at upgrading and replacing the water distribution lines in the park. The work included the replacement of water distribution lines throughout the Havasupai Gardens area and at the 1.5 and 3-mile rest houses, located along the Bright Angel Trail.
