Often brands are defined by one or a few very distinct design elements.  One look down at a wrist and you instantly know the timepiece that’s ticking.  With few exterior parts to a watch it can sometimes be difficult to set yourself apart as a brand.  Chronoswiss is one that has been able to distinguish its own look while still keeping it simple.  They have taken two of the most important exterior watch elements, the crown and bezel, and modified them to their liking.  Known for their pronounced coin bezel and large onion crown, they have once again created a sporty timepiece with their classic Chronoswiss elements.  Today we introduce the newly released Chronoswiss Timemaster Retrograde Day.

This 44mm sport piece comes in both stainless steel and DLC (diamond like coating) with a rotating coined edge bezel.  Unique dials are offered as well with an option for a completely SuperLuminova dial for maximum legibility and cool factor.  Not often do you see a fully glowing dial and Chronoswiss has made that another mark of the brand.  Inside lies an automatic forty-two hour power reserve caliber 286.  Complication steps this piece up with a big date display as well as a retrograde day. Rounding out the piece are a rubber strap and folding buckle to offer supreme comfort and to solidify its sportiness.

The bigger and badder trend of sport watches has finally started to sizzle down and this piece is a prime example;  large enough for a presence but not obnoxious.  Brand identity is what helps these new pieces distinguish themselves rather than case size.  Here the brand has incorporated some interesting dials and materials as well as brought in the trademark bezel and crown and added some complication.  Chronoswiss has tastefully brewed up a sport watch worth a look.  This is one you will certainly recognize when spotted on a wrist in the wild or at this summers beach bonfire.
