The results are in for the ultimate global hotel showdown. LTI – Luxury Travel Intelligence, has unveiled its highly anticipated list of the World’s Best Luxury Hotel Brands for 2025, and the competition is fiercer than ever.
Unlike typical “best of” lists, this annual assessment is built on a year-long, data-driven evaluation rather than simple guest reviews or editorial opinions. LTI’s proprietary algorithm examines 130 key touchpoints, evaluating everything from management quality and staff training to brand ethos, innovation, and investment strategy. Each category carries a weighted score, culminating in a possible 4,663 points. The process focuses on overall brand performance, rewarding hotel groups that consistently deliver exceptional service, maintain their values, and reinvest in their properties through renovations and thoughtful new openings.
Leading the pack this year is Mandarin Oriental, which has steadily improved its score for three straight years. Known for mixing timeless elegance with modern service, the brand continues to grow a loyal following of travelers seeking five-star consistency across the globe.
Close behind is Aman, celebrated for its 36 exclusive resorts, hotels, and private residences spread across 20 countries. Bulgari Hotels rounds out the top three, with nine sleek, fashion-forward properties in cities such as Milan, London, Tokyo, and Paris.
Other notable names in the top tier include Oetker Collection, Rosewood, and Four Seasons.
