This week, low-fare airline Frontier Airlines announced a bevy of enticing loyalty rewards. Among them is the ability to earn companion certificates with the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard, and the chance to achieve Elite Gold Status using miles from other airlines.

Frontier’s next-level rewards

Bobby Schroeter, Chief Commercial Officer, Frontier Airlines, said: “We’re proving that low-fare travel can also be the most rewarding. With companion certificates, Miles Match from multiple airlines, and the opportunity to receive instant Elite Gold Status with Frontier, no other U.S. airline is giving travelers this much value.”

In a collaboration with Barclays US Consumer Bank, Frontier will now give Frontier Airlines World Mastercard members the chance to earn companion certificates in addition to existing rewards.

Between now and January 31, 2026, cardmembers can earn companion certificates for the following transaction totals:

  • First certificate at $3,000 in purchases
  • Second certificate at $10,000 in purchases
  • Third certificate at $20,000 in purchases

Every certificate includes airfare on Frontier for the cardmember’s chosen companion, with only government taxes and fees due, which start at $10.10. Certificates are redeemable within one year of issuance.

In addition, new Frontier Miles members can match up to one million miles of combined mileage from qualifying airlines. Upon joining, Frontier will match the miles earned with other airlines. To unlock those miles, customers must travel the same number of miles with Frontier over the next 12 months.

Last but not least, Frontier will expand its program that allows customers to upgrade from competitor loyalty programs to Frontier Elite Gold status. From now through December 2026, for $69, members of Southwest Rapid Rewards, JetBlue TrueBlue, Spirit Free Spirit, or Alaska Mileage Plan can achieve instant Elite Gold status with Frontier. Elite Gold members enjoy perks like priority boarding, free preferred seat selection, UpFront Plus seating, complimentary upgrades to Premium, and a free carry-on bag.

London has no shortage of rooftop bars. Florattica still stands out
This East London rooftop bar proves you don't need to be 50 floors up to impress
Bar, Person, Candle

London does not need another rooftop bar. The city has them stacked on top of skyscrapers, tucked behind hotel lobbies, and squeezed onto buildings where you'd swear there isn't room for a bar, let alone a view. So when a new one claims to be worth your evening, it has some convincing to do.

Florattica, perched on the 11th floor of Canopy by Hilton London City, did the convincing. It just recently picked up its first PIN from The Pinnacle Guide, and after a night spent working through its cocktail menu (slowly, responsibly, mostly), it's easy to see why.
