For those unaware, The Ingram Distillery is one of the more unique distilleries in the world. Founded in 2015, it has the first permanent floating rickhouse in Western Kentucky (and beyond). Known for its bourbon whiskeys, the brand recently announced the release of its 2025 Flagship Bourbon.

Released only once per year, the 2025 version is Batch 5 of this popular expression is a blend of the brand’s best barrels, hand selected by Master Blender Scott Beyer. All the barrels are aged with the motion of the moving water of the Mississippi River. The fifth flagship release is a marriage of eight high-rye bourbons with a mash bill of 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley.

According to Ingram, the result is a balanced, mellow bourbon that carries a proof of 116.5. The nose is a mix of apple pie, brown sugar, cake frosting, and clove. The palate is centered on milk chocolate, buttercream, and chai. The finish is long, warm, and ends with flavors of toasted walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, and demerara sugar.

“Every Flagship release is unique, with its own character and flavor produced by our river aging process,” Founder and Proprietor Hank Ingram says. “This year, we selected and blended from just eight barrels to produce what we believe is a truly extraordinary bourbon. We’ve accomplished much in 2025 and the release of our Flagship is the perfect way to celebrate as we turn to the fall. I would tell any bourbon lover to act quickly before these bottles are gone.”

 Where can I buy it?

Ingram 2025 Flagship Bourbon is currently available at select retailers in Alaska, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin for the suggested retail price of $79.99. It’s also available at select online retailers including Seelbach’s.

As if there weren't enough reasons to love Portland International Airport. Now, there's one more. The Rose City's own Straightaway Cocktails has opened a cocktail lounge there, solidifying the hub as one of the best American airports.

Now, in addition to cool record stores, short film cinemas, and great food, there's a place for a bar-level cocktail. It's perhaps no surprise, as the airport tends to focus on local, from Oregon breweries to area restaurant chains. Straightaway already has a partnership with Alaska Airlines, with many of their RTD canned cocktails showing up on the in-flight menu.
