In part three of our three part Innovators and Essentials series, presented by Scion, we stopped over at one of the two garages that make up the headquarters for Breadwinner Cycles and spoke with Ira Ryan and Tony Pereria. Ira and Tony are the co-founders of Breadwinner Cycles and they also make and assemble every single bicycle they sell. We discuss how they got started in the business, what inspires them and how technology has changed or not changed over the years in building bikes.

Their handmade steel frames are tig welded, and outfitted with the latest modern components including disc brakes and electronic shifting.

Many movie fans have fond memories of trying to sneak into the theater to watch an R-rated movie or peaking into the living room while their parents are viewing a violent or sexually explicit film for a glance at the inappropriateness of it all. As we get older, though, we realize there's a lot more to these age-restricted pictures than what's on the rating by the Motion Picture Association.

Sometimes graphic, gory, or steamy scenes are required to get a point across to the audience. You can't make a classic horror movie without a little blood. You can't depict a religious crucifixion in a G-rated way. These are the best R-rated movies, from science-fiction epics to raunchy rom-coms.

George R.R. Martin is not happy about ‘House of the Dragon’ season 2

After teasing that he would be blogging about his issues with the second season of House of the Dragon, George R.R. Martin, the creator of the Game of Thrones universe, has made good on that promise. The show, which is based on his novel Fire & Blood, had to make some changes to Martin's original story in order to accommodate the realities of TV. Now, Martin has weighed in on one change in particular that he didn't approve of.

The change relates specifically to the "Blood & Cheese" plotline in the first episode of season 2, in which the death of one of Aegon and Halaena Targaryen's children. The show chose to elminate one of their children, Maelor, entirely, and Martin is worried about the ramifications of that decision in the show moving forward.
