Death By Unga Bunga’s Refreshing New EP, ‘Fight!’

For Death By Unga Bunga, success was a long time in coming, but 2016 has been a breakout year for the band. This past March, the Norwegian power pop group released Pineapple Pizza, their fourth album, and on September 9 the group simultaneously re-released their debut, Juvenile Jungle!, and released the brand new Fight! EP.

The Fight! EP finds Death By Unga Bunga coming into their own. The band has branched out from its Sonics-influenced garage sound while remaining lively and producing even catchier melodies, resulting in a sound reminiscent of pop punk.

Death By Unga Bunga also seems to have found a working combination of irreverence, silliness, and earnestness. The cover of Fight! depicts a cartoon fist crashing into a face. The image if silly and simple, but the band’s message less so. Fight!, as they put it, “does not describe the band’s love for fist fights or meaningless quarrels, but…the fight for quality music.”

Is 21-Year-Old Jackson Koivun the Future of Golf? Scottie Scheffler Already Offering High Praise

The future is here, and his name is Jackson Koivun. The 21-year-old made only his third pro start over the weekend at TPC Twin Cities, where he fended off world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler to capture the 3M Open. It’s Koivun’s first PGA Tour win, but it’s not just that he won. It’s how he won that impressed the golf world, including Scheffler.

The Auburn alum entered the final day of the tournament with a three-stroke lead, and he didn’t let up. Koivun got off to a stellar start on the front nine. He later admitted that he had nerves heading into the back nine, but it didn’t show. Koivun posted two birdies on the back nine and finished the final round bogey-free. He’d go on to win by three strokes. He finished 5-under 66 on Sunday and set a tournament-record 25-under 259 total.

Lewis Hamilton is having a rebound year for Ferrari. Ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest, the 41-year-old was looking to accomplish something no driver had ever done there: earn his 10th pole position. McLaren’s Lando Norris, however, had different plans.

At the last second, Norris snatched Hamilton’s chances at making history in Hungarian Grand Prix qualifying. Norris crossed the line with a qualifying time of 1:17.207 to take pole position, followed by Hamilton (1:17.219) and his Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc (1:17.445). 19-year-old sensation Kimi Antonelli (1:17.479) settled for fourth place for Mercedes.
