Omega Launches New Seamaster Olympic Games Collection Ahead of PyeongChang 2018

Hot on the heels of their previous PyeongChang commemorative watch, the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, Omega announced the launch of the new Seamaster Olympic Games Collection ahead of the 2018 Winter Games on February 9-25.

As the “official timekeeper” of the Olympic Games no less than 27 times (that’s an 86-year commitment), it’s no surprise that the brand is releasing an entire collection dedicated to the greatest sporting event of the modern era. The Seamaster lineup has models available in black, yellow, green, blue, and red as a nod to the colors of the Olympic Rings; the theme continues with anodized aluminum ring on the caseback, which includes all the known host cities that Omega has kept time in, from the Los Angles Games in 1932 to the Los Angeles Games coming up in 2028.

Other standout features include the domed black and white dial, hour markers, and the sharply contrasted minute trackon the white outer circle. And, just to reinforce the fact that these watches were designed with sports and timekeeping in mind, they also sport a colored pulse reader encircling the dial with, according to Omega in a recent release, “three narrowly-separated 20-second timing intervals” that”enable the wearer to easily calculate their pulse beats-per-minute.”

Inspired in part by Omega stopwatches from the 1976 Summer Montreal Games and the Innsbruck Winter Games from that same year, the watches offer an energetic flair in a 39.5 mm package. The straps are made from micro-perforated leather to add texture and to allow the wearer’s wrist to breathe. Inside, the watches are powered by the master Chronomoeter calibre 8800.

Both Olympic and timepiece fans have to act fast for this collection, though, since only 2,032 versions of each model (for a total of 10,160) have been manufactured — a nod to Omega’s status as the official timekeeper all the way through 2032, a period of exactly 100 years.

The watches will be available at the end of January 2018 and will retail for $5,400.

You only get one chance to make a great first impression. That is why we dress nicely. That is why we groom ourselves expertly. And that is why you need to have a great cologne. You never know who you are going to meet, and you don't want to be caught in anything other than your best. You may be forgiven if your hair is a little long when you are on the trail. You may be forgiven for having a five o'clock shadow on Saturday afternoon. And you may not be punished for wearing jeans and a T-shirt at the movie theater. However, you will always be judged for not smelling good. That is why you need to invest in the best men's colognes.

Having a pleasant fragrance is more than smelling pleasant for those around you. It also attracts people to you and shows that you care about your hygiene. People will respond better and remember you fondly if your smell lingers. It is the most powerful scent tied to memory, so make sure you are remembered in 2024 with these top picks for colognes for men. We didn't go with all the big boys in the men's cologne industry. You will see one name that nearly everyone knows. But, we stuck more with the ones that you all should know. There is no Dior, no Polo, and no Gucci on this list. We didn't go for names. We went for quality fragrances and picks that will keep you remembered long after you leave.

Rolex adds new Cosmograph Daytona watches
Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

Rolex has introduced a new, super-expensive watch covered in diamonds. What's new? Well, while we're used to this, and it doesn't exactly warrant front-page news, this introduction actually does. This new chapter for the brand unveils two new additions to the Rolex Daytona collection, and they're certainly more opulent in a subtle way compared to previous designs.
Rolex Daytona: Two new Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches added to the collection

These new Rolex watches, which are part of the Cosmograph Daytona collection, are diamond-set models adorned with mother-of-pearl dials.
