Opinel X Topo Designs Collab On Stellar Steel Folding Knife and Sheath

Opinel and Topo Designs have come together to create a century-old style folding knife, boasting with contemporary flare and utility. Not only does it feature a low-maintenance stainless steel blade, the Opinel X Topo Designs knife is complimented with the addition of chromium to prevent scratching and corrosion.

When French Blacksmith Joseph Opinel set out to design his first pocket knife in the late 19th Century, his goal was to make something as beautiful as it was functional. The N°08 folding knife collaboration with Colorado-based mountain culture aficionados, Topo Designs, brings Opinel’s initial inspiration to 2017 with a timeless silhouette that’ll help you conquer any woodland.

The 8.5 cm titanium nitride knife has wondrous cutting abilities and comes equipped with Opinel’s Virobloc safety ring, which locks the blade open (for safety when in use), and also locks the blade closed (for safety in transport). However, the fun doesn’t end there.

Topo Designs has given us some prized features of their own. The Topo Designs’ custom print wraps around the natural blonde-wood handle, which is finished with a 1.5mm paracord lanyard. And if you’re still not entertained, the Opinel X Topo Designs knife comes with a durable sheath which carries the folded knife and allows for easy, secure transportation on your outdoor endeavors.
