Abrams started out working in Tokyo in the intellectual property department of a Toshiba group company that produced advanced materials for the semiconductor industry. When he returned to the U.S., he found my footing as a writer for a law publisher, producing articles that summarized appellate judicial opinions. Abrams wrote over 10,000 of those before beginning his work with The Manual's brother site, Digital Trends. The Manual may have assumed that someone persnickety enough to write law articles would be able to catch the rare oversights made by our excellent team of writers
