Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No. 5 Straight Bourbon Whiskey: A Tribute to the Tetons

The new release in Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks series is a tribute to the Tetons in a bottle. This is the fifth release, crafted in partnership with the Grand Teton National Park Foundation to support its continued efforts to preserve its natural resources. Previous releases included Yellowstone, Acadia, and another Grand Teton expression.

This 96-proof bourbon whiskey was made with only locally sourced ingredients and matured for a minimum of 5 years in new, charred American oak barrels. According to the brand, the result is a complex, sippable whiskey that features flavors like honey, cinnamon sugar, vanilla icing, candied oranges, almonds, cherry liqueur, chocolate, and leather.

“For those of you who’ve been following Wyoming Whiskey over the years, you’re aware of our ongoing commitment to the preservation of wide-open spaces. The cornerstone of our commitment is the support of our National Parks,” David DeFazio, Wyoming Whiskey co-founder, says.

“Over the last four years, we have made donations to Yellowstone Forever, the Grand Teton National Park Foundation, and Friends of Acadia, the philanthropic partners of each Park. With National Parks No. 5, we feature Grand Teton with a historic image by Thomas Moran titled The Three Tetons. This straight bourbon whiskey is five years old, bottled at 96 proof, and I must say, it hits all the right notes with the flavor profile.”
