Even if you aren’t Jay Gatsby, you can still drink like the fictional F. Scott Fitzgerald character thanks to the folks at Lawrenceburg, Indiana’s Ross & Squibb Distillery. That’s because it recently announced the return of its popular Remus Gatsby Reserve Bourbon.
Remus Gatsby Reserve Bourbon

This is the fourth edition of the popular Remus Gatsby Reserve. The 2025 edition was matured for a minimum of fifteen years. Released to celebrate the 100th anniversary of “The Great Gatsby”, this limited-edition expression is bottled at a potent 102.8-proof.
According to Ross & Squibb, the result is a multi-layered, complex bourbon made with a mash bill featuring 21% rye. The nose is a mix of toasted vanilla beans, candied cherries, and oaky wood. The palate is centered on dried cherries, raisins, molasses cookies, pipe tobacco, and a touch of Armagnac. The finish is long, lingering, warm, and ends with a smattering of toasted oak and cherry.
“2025 marks the centennial of ‘The Great Gatsby,’ so we wanted to make this year’s expression of Remus Gatsby Reserve absolutely epic,” said Ross & Squibb Distillery Master Distiller Ian Stirsman. “We hand-selected our finest 15-year-old straight bourbon whiskey barrels from our reserves and expertly blended them to create a legendary pour. This year’s release showcases Remus Bourbon at its best.”
