While sports like Formula 1 and golf have recently reentered their seasons, other activities like tennis and padel aren’t losing steam. As sports like tennis, padel, and pickleball continue to rise in popularity among those looking to experiment with new athletic activities, brands are taking note of their footwear collections. As part of P448’s expansion into the performance space, the brand is launching a new court sneaker for indoor sports. Made with Vibram, the court sneaker is crafted with functionality in mind to withstand high-impact usage. Available in four new colorways, the court sneaker is a versatile option for on and off the court. Although this is the Italian brand’s first experimentation in the performance footwear space, the premium details and features don’t allude to it being its first performance shoe.

Created with polyester uppers, the new court sneakers feature a high abrasion resistance Vibram rubber sole that protects the design from constant wear and tear. Also featured on the new P448 sneaker is a patented foot cage for support, durable ripstop nylon, and a memory foam insole, which adds to the shoe’s comfort and stability features. While just the first of P448’s new performance category, the design already has four distinct colorways. The tones available include Green/Sand/Orange, Gunmetal/Grey/Blue, Black/Purple, and Black/White/Lime combinations. With a pair of matching laces included, the new release from P448 is a promising first step for the Italian brand. Now available via P448’s website, the sneaker retails for $298 in all color options.

The Detroit-based brand is launching the Mackinac Night Race, a limited edition built around the yacht timer — the countdown complication used to time the start of a sailing race, aka one of watchmaking's more specialized tricks. The name nods to the Great Lakes maritime history the watch draws on (so not technically an official race tie-in).

One of the most iconic ways a man can stand out is to make a statement with his style. Now, this isn't as easy as it sounds. One of the tricks I have always loved to incorporate with my looks is a statement shoe. A typical everyday outfit can be elevated easily with a shoe standing out with color or pattern. One of my favorite brands to go to when I want to do that is TAFT. They are the best in the game for a statement shoe, and their new edit is a way to capitalize on that idea.
